Directions to the property: When you get off the boat you will be on Pebbly Beach Road. Go to the right toward town. Crescent Avenue is the harbor front pedestrian only street (it runs along the waterfront with shops and restaurants). Continue past the green "Pleasure Pier" in the center of downtown, approximately 4 blocks, to Metropole Avenue. Make a left on Metropole Avenue, go 1/3 block up and the property is on the right-hand side. Across the street are the Santa Catalina Island Company offices.

It was wonderful overall and I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

The room is soo tiny compared to what was mentioned in the description. There was fan but it was not working , the shower is not for ppl who is more than 180 lbs.

Pros:

We did not get the room we expected. Thought it was a king room with ocean view. Pictures online showed a view of the ocean. Thought the room was pricey for what we got particularly during winter season. Lovely female staff member.
Male staff member answering phone was quite stiff and unfriendly.
Location was perfect for us.

Inadequate and did not rest at all.
Pros:

It was somewhat close to the harbor as most of them are since its so small.

Cons:

Toilet broke down.
Sliding door bathroom divider handle was already loose and broke off.
Inadequate space, extremely small, especially for that price despite being rented during semi peak season.

Room for 3 was too small. Room has an odd smell. There’s a cockroach in our room as well. Room was very uncomfortable. 2 small tv that you can barely hear the sound

The staff was very friendly and that made the stay ok.

Cons:

The balcony was facing another place. The shower didn't have a door. No refrigerator to keep water inside the room to keep cold.

A little place full of surprises
Pros:

The hotel listed this as a "family room" but it still comfortably fit three grown adults! Good use of floor space, quality air conditioning, and more of a view than just the hotel's roofing.

Cons:

I am used to hotels in Catalina not having elevators, but the stairs here were labyrinthine. Not straight stairwell from the ground to the fourth floor (where we stayed) aside from the emergency fire exit. Other than that the shower could have been a little cleaner and the sheets a little fresher.

Cockroaches in my room and I had to BUY another room just to get rid of them.
