Pros:

Ratings shown on Expedia 9/10 are absolutely misleading. The rates are comparable to 5 star hotels with services of 2 star hotels. Linen, towels worn out, stained, breakfast very ordinary, allocated room was stuffy and small, they did upgrade to a bigger room.

Pros:

I think it’s first important to note that this is not a 4 Star hotel like Expedia advertises. I think this is at the fault of Expedia, and they should do better work of providing hotel ratings. This would be a 3 at best in my opinion, maybe less.

However, I’m giving this 4/5 overall rating because this was a decent place for the price. I do not recommend paying 4* prices for this place. I was under 2,000 rupees per night.

Pros:
Staff was really nice and accommodating
Room was very big. Could use a refresh on the decor
Close to all the markets, but quiet at night. If you’re here to party, you’re about a 30 minute walk to Baga Beach. I don’t really like Calagunte beach.

Cons:
Breakfast was really poor
Pool was small and the first day it didn’t look very clean
My drain in my shower wouldn’t drain properly. Had to have quick showers so water didn’t come into the main living area
