Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine

The hotel is beautiful, I was there for a conference and didn’t need to leave for the whole time. The swimming and jacuzzi area is exceptional, the food on the conference was lovely, the bar area was really nice and I loved the Market in the entrance for snacks. My only reservation is the food was very expensive, but there is a microwave and fridge so you can order in.

Great business hotel. Beautiful lobby, great breakfast. Love this place. Clean, great service, great location. Would highly recommend.

Always comfortable and welcoming. I stay at this Hyatt whenever I am in the La Jolla area. I appreciate the efforts of the friendly staff and the facility provides everything I need.

Location and restaurants inside and breakfast option

Great family friendly resort! We loved all the unexpected kid-friendly perks from letting them pick out toys from the toy chest to games on the pool deck to a complimentary breakfast buffet with paid adult.

This hotel is great value. Fantastic amenities; lap pool + games + gym + tennis + free beach stuff they provide for you + several restaurants for all price levels (in addition to in room dining) + very comfortable beds & rooms. All this for a rather reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. Both the room and the overall hotel were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, adding to the positive experience. Although there was an event happening during our stay, we were pleasantly surprised that it didn’t affect us at all — there was no noticeable noise or disturbance.

Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable visit, and we would definitely come back again.

Family of 4, with 2 kids (1 and 2 year old). Reserved a King room and requested a crib (which was ready upon check-in). I was not offered a free upgrade as discoverist (prob due to requesting crib ahead of time, maybe i should request after checking in).
EV charger available which is free, but 1st come 1st serve. There is a "4 hour charging policy" which i don't think it's enforced. (self parking $39 vs Valet $49), plenty of garage parking.
Pool was nice, but a bit deep for my 1 and 2 year old. Always supervise, regardless.
Breakfast (Shor) was not included with my room stay (used points about 12000/night) no resort fees (waived). Buffee ($35 + surcharge + tax + tip) style or a la carte. So about $80-90 for 2adults + 2 kids (free). Service was average/everyone is kind, I had to get everything to fulfill the needs for my kids, which was totally fine.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine with our family last weekend. Great location, excellent service, and very family-friendly. Tiya, the Front Office Manager, went above and beyond by sending us reminders about events weeks in advance and taking great care of our needs. Romy at SHOR Restaurant was also incredibly friendly and considerate. Breakfast at SHOR was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.

Don’t ever stay here, run down hotel, hidden fees, horrible food. Coffee shops had rotten half and half, food was terrible

I had a flight cancellation due to weather and They were able to honor my accommodations for the next day with no issues. Very grateful for that.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
