Comfortable stay…
Pros:

We had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. The hotel was clean and well maintained, although the standard room felt a bit small. Breakfast at Shor was very good, but the breakfast menu offered only limited choices.

One feature I especially appreciated was the complimentary Tesla charging available in the parking area, which was a great convenience.

Overall, the experience was almost perfect. The only disappointment was that we did not receive a room upgrade. Despite that, I would still recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Hyatt La Jolla. I completed online check-in at 10:00 AM and arrived at the hotel at 2:00 PM, which is the stated check-in time. However, my room was not ready. I left and returned at 4:30 PM, and the room was still unavailable.

What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of communication from the front desk staff. When I asked for an estimated time when the room would be ready, I was simply told to continue waiting with no timeframe provided. The staff showed little empathy or effort to keep us informed about the delay.

I understand that unexpected circumstances can happen, but guests deserve clear communication and reasonable expectations, especially when check-in has already been delayed by several hours. Unfortunately, the poor customer service and lack of information significantly impacted our stay and first impression of the hotel.

A Beautiful and Relaxing Stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt La Jolla. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

Our room was spotless, and the common areas were well maintained. The location is excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything La Jolla has to offer.

We had a great family trip and truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

Fan of Hyatt's, and this one is one of the best!
Pros:

We love staying at Hyatt hotels and this one is no exception. It’s probably our favorite stay of all Hyatt stays. Hyatts are always consistently clean, spacious, and have friendly staff that are always welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We loved having the market in the lobby. If we’re ever back in the area, we’re definitely staying here again.

Great hotel in La Jolla
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay here. Grace at the front desk was extremely welcoming and attentive to me having kids with me..offered welcome toys and a late check out. Outdoor area has cute gaming area for children as well as fire pits. Room and hotel cleanliness was also great. Definitely recommend staying here!
