Okay but needs a refresh
Pros:

Location was good, staff is very nice

Cons:

It is dated and needs to be refreshed. The carpet in the rooms is filthy.
The air conditioning didn’t work, someone came to fix it but it stopped working again. There windows are all screwed closed so you can’t get any fresh air
The breakfast is something to skip.

It’s reasonably nice.
Pros:

This is a pleasant hotel, with seemingly renovated rooms. My request for an upper floor and a quiet area were honored. The room was quiet, and had a nightlight in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. However, there was no clock in the room.

Breakfast was a disappointment: the bananas were very brown, the muffins were rockhard, and the cut fruit seemed old. The chicken sausage was fine, but the potatoes did not seem crisp. The coffee was a little weak. Although a few beverages were available near the check-in counter, I did not see any vending machines for things like Coke and Pepsi. The room rate was a good value.

Pros:

We reserved a king room and were given a queen room. I even asked upon check in to confirm we were getting a king room and I was told yes. There was a gap in the blind so a light was shining into our room all night long. There was no remote for the TV in the room. I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it was a queen until after I was ready for bed so upon check out I mentioned it to the desk staff. He said that he would have the manager call me about these issues but I never received a call.

Not typical for a Hampton so this is very disappointing!
