Categories

Cleanliness
7.6
Many guests report rooms as clean and spacious, but several strong negatives (filthy spa, stained/tawdry towels, chipped/broken furniture) lower the score to mixed cleanliness overall.
Service
8.9
Staff repeatedly described as warm, friendly and helpful; front desk recognised repeat guests and management attempted to resolve issues, giving service an above-average rating.
Location
9.3
Consistently praised — convenient for the city, close to Adelaide Oval and airport, good access to restaurants and public transport; location is a clear strength.
Room Quality
7.4
Mixed reports: many rooms are comfortable, spacious and recently furnished, but recurring problems noted (split king beds/two single mattresses, flat pillows, weak showers, occasional broken furniture and heater issues).
Amenities
8
Onsite gated parking and pleasant toiletries are positives; however spa cleanliness, older fridges and some dated bathroom fixtures/adapters were criticised, producing a moderate amenities score.
Value for Money
8.2
Most guests found the hotel reasonably priced and good value for location and facilities, though a few strong complaints noted poor value or booking/payment issues.
Food and Beverage
8.1
Food receives generally positive mention (notably a praised Sri Lankan restaurant), but some guests experienced unavailable mains or limited options — overall slightly above average.
Overall Experience
8.9
Overall stays are positive due to location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff; negative incidents (cleanliness/facility faults, parking squeeze) reduce consistency but do not dominate guests' general impression.

Horrible, poor quality food and rooms left unattended and unclean during my 3 night stay.
Pros:

Location is good

Cons:

Food in attached restaurant not fit for human consumption and made me ill. Stayed 3 days room not cleaned at all during the stay no fresh towels, bed left unmade and when I asked for some towels staff forgot to bring them up. Used to stay here frequently a few years back when rooms were always cleaned and beds made with fresh towels every day, we would eat at the restaurant breakfast and dinner and it was superb along with the coffee. I will never stay here again horrible experience 👎

Cannot recommend
Pros:

It started with my arrival late at night and unable to get a car park, or even get out of the car park easily, as people had wedged their cars everywhere! Got inside and the room was very basic and the walls so thin that the neighbouring television may as well have been in my room. They didn't shut it off till after midnight. I had a few nights of peace (the bed was fairly comfy) and then a smoker moved in next door. I rang reception (several times) as my room absolutely stank with smoke, and there was no answer. When I rang again in the morning to ask if smoking was permitted on the balcony, I was told it was. No apology for the inconvenience, just a grumpy staff member who sounded like she'd heard it all before. I strongly suggest you but smokers on different levels - your hotel is not well equipped enough to keep it out! Even though I only had one more night, I couldn't stand it any more, so I asked to move rooms. To be fair to the manager she was more responsive, and the new room was much better than the first. Quieter location, cleaner and nicer. But I can confidently say that I travel a lot for work and this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Sorry folks! This hotel is absolutely more akin to a motel that you would find on the highway in a regional town - dated, old, unfriendly and unpleasant.

Also had the most random meal at the in-house restaurant. The guy working there was lovely, but there was no one there. They couldn't do a curry (the staple dish for a Sri Lankan restaurant) due to night of the week (and one presumes lack of patronage) so I had a random gnocchi.

Pros:

Location was convenient for our needs.

Cons:

King bed was 2 single mattresses at different heights and plushness. Making the bed very uncomfortable for sleeping.
Fridges could do with an upgrade, as well as the bath/shower adapter
