Excellent breakfast even during downtime. Great access to train service and small areas of Lisbon! We were attending sporting event at international of Jamor and was easy to accommodate our athletes. Wonderful restaurant service and hotel staff were always welcoming to help us out.

I am still overjoyed I chose this place for the Lisbon Marathon!

Ana (polyglot), her sister, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. The room I got was above and beyond my expectations -- unforgettable. The included breakfast, every morning, from 0730 to 1000 allowed me to start the day, fuel for the long walks and runs along N6 to Cascais and/or Lisbon.

The Caxias train station (about 1Km) is half-way between Cascais and Lisbon-- perfect for people willing to walk or take the subway between the great ancient and new towns of Portugal. The location exactly fit my needs.

The suite I got was spotless, spacious, and had a rear-balcony. While I could not fully see the sea, looking over the rear of the room was perfect. I got everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Even the subway noise felt normal as a local. (I didn't mind the noise.)

I had a wonderful experience at Solar Palmeiras. I can’t wait to return. This hotel is great for solo, business, families, and romance. The views of the ocean elt like a little slice of heaven overlooking the Tagus. The many small jesters added up such as the fruit box of oranges, and apples near the elevator; the pool overlooking the ocean; the staff keeping the place running smoothly and spotless. I felt at peace every morning before breakfast. If I can, I recommend this hotel for runners and people who love to walk. Nevertheless, there is plenty of free parking if you have a car.

I recommend a coupon code for people running the Lisbon Marathon next year (2026) or special events for Lisbon. It perfect location to watch the 42Km runners too!

Unfortunately there was two major issues for me
First one: the isolation from the noise is bad, you could hear the street all day / night long, if you’re a light sleeper, it’s complicated
The second one and most important one: the reception is terrible, the WiFi is awful, impossible to work with, did not have any signal in the bedroom, a little bit in the living room but not good enough to work with

Breakfast was excellent. Grounds beautiful. Only drawback is on a noisy roadway.

Not great - not bad, but acceptably OK.

The room and indeed the entire hotel was a bit tired and worn.
The air on in the room was broken and replaced by a stand alone unit wit the exhaust in a house leading out an open window.
Ok solution but the unit was extremely loud. No way the unit could be turned on when I was in the room.

The staff was friendly but not very helpful, the waitress in the restaurant forgot my order for food and drinks twice in a week. Furthermore the staff did not speak very good English.

I would not use this hotel again.

Nice beach side resort, friendly and helpful staff.

The property is off a busy expressway. Once you're inside the property, it's not bad. There is parking but during busy times, the lot may get full quickly. It's a small hotel so don't expect anyone to come out to help you. The day time staff is much better than the evening. The evening guy was meh.. not much personality and didn't do much other than check you and that's it. We asked how to get to the other side where the beach is. He had no clue. The day time staff was much better equip to answer questions and help with general questions. The room was not bad. Shower was good, strong pressure. The sofa bed was decent along with the 2 beds. Breakfast was included and was decent. The place is convenient to drive around to the beach and to the nearby shopping mall. We would probably not go back to this beach due to the fact it's on the opposite side of the beach and not a safe way to get across.

The hotel is located overlooking the ocean but on a very busy and noisy dual carriageway road. The train station is 10 minutes walk. A taxi from the city cost €25, but the taxi driver tried to charge us €35 initially!

Be super careful from the moment you arrive; there are lots of quite dangerous steps in Reception and around the hotel!!

I stayed in a Deluxe Suite with Sea View. The room was a good size and clean, but décor is very dated. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. There was just 1 pillow per person and only 1 extra pillow in the wardrobe. There was no duvet or mattress topper; just sheets, bedspread and a blanket (like from the 1970s!!).

The outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean is pleasant. However the restaurant menu is small with the same menu for lunch & dinner and just 3 wine options. The nearest restaurants outside the hotel are a 10 minute walk along the busy road.

The staff were mostly nice and friendly.

On arrival the prepaid cocktails were not available as waiter was not on duty, so ended up with a basic drink. No iron at all on the property. The hotel is out of the way but that is my fault I should have done more research on the area. The staff were all friendly and house keeping was always done when requested.

Nice stay with no important problems. The staff nice as well, only the traffic on the road in front of the hotel may be a bit dusturbing.

The first time we arrived we had a great surprise! The staff handed us water and bread with butter and jam. Everything was so clean, especially the beds that were made every day, the towels were changed also every day. We had excelent breakfast with a magical view of the ocean and the sun. The staff was very polite and helpful. The night before leaving home we had a fado concert which was free, with selected wine, cheese and fruits. We had a really great time standing bere I totally recommend!!

Our stay was all great. Only we were not given the room that we had booked.

The hotel is has great facilities, rooms and building in general are very clean and comfortable, small pool but the beach is just few blocks away so it's a great location. Their customer service is exceptional, every staff we encountered was friendly and courteous.
Highly recommended.

I was there for a meeting in Taguspark, the location is good alsince it is less than 15 minutes by uber. The area of the hotel is also nice, just the hotel is very close to a main street and train tracks, nevertheless the room was quite, but you can hear the noise in the garden and swimming pool area. If you are interested in the view, make sure to ask for it, since some rooms do not have it. Overall it was a nice stay for 1 night for work, with the benefit of the swimming pool and sea nearby, breakfast was good and personal was nice.

The rooms were so huge, spacious and we found everything we needed. There is also something like a kitchen, but without microwave or stove so you cannot cook. It would be perfect with an equipped kitchen... The bathroom had a tub and we got fresh towel every day. Bedroom had comfortable beds, sofa in the big living room was also very good to sleep on. We has a small balcony. The room was noisy because a busy road runs by the hotel and you have to walk 10 min. to get to a restaurant or supermarket. The breakfast was perfect and we missed nothing expect for cappuccino which you have to pay extra. Great hotel form families and trips by car or public transport.

Gammal slitet störs av trafiken utanför. Frukost ok inget skydd för ost och skinkan.

We really enjpyed this hotel. The staff was very helpful, the location and the grounds are beautiful, the room was nice and the breakfast was great. It's walking distance to the train station which was also great.
