Pros:

Great property. Fire pits, good food and drinks. Live music. Book directly. If something happens you can cancel. Booking.com charges even if they say they don’t.

A Preventable Customer Service Failure
Pros:

Our family was really looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately our experience before we even arrived was extremely disappointing. A nearby wildfire caused very poor air quality, with the AQI exceeding 200 and public health guidance recommending that people stay indoors. While I understand the wildfire itself was completely outside the hotel's control, I was disappointed that management would not work with us on a cancellation despite the circumstances. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. We had to send multiple messages and make several phone calls just to receive a response. During those conversations, we were given information about the fire and air quality that did not match publicly available reports, which only added to our frustration. I kept screenshots of the conditions throughout the process. To make matters worse, charges appeared on two different credit cards. It took multiple additional calls to have one of the charges reversed, and we ultimately had to file a credit card dispute to resolve the remaining issue. Ironically, one of the customer service representatives acknowledged that they had received many cancellations because of the wildfire, so it was clear we were not the only guests affected. Again, I don't fault the hotel for the wildfire. What disappointed me was how the situation was handled. A little empathy, flexibility, and proactive customer service would have gone a long way. We live only a few hours away and would likely have returned many times had this been handled differently. If your stay goes exactly as planned, you may have a perfectly good experience. But based on ours, if something unexpected happens, don't expect much flexibility or customer-focused problem solving. In our experience, protecting revenue appeared to take priority over taking care of guests.

Cons:

This motel looks average and is overpriced. The pictures don’t accurately represent the actual motel or rooms. The room had numerous cracks on the ceiling.

Pros:

I like the lights at night and the fire places

Cons:

The ceiling had cracks and looked a little like black mold on the ceiling. The bed was way uncomfortable and hard to sleep and made a lot of noises

Das Zimmer war sauber, aber im Lounge/Barbereich und vor allem auf der Terrasse war es schmutzig. Auch der Pool war leider ungepflegt.

Super cute lobby and area to relax and congregate

Cons:

The decor in the bedrooms were cute, but not as upscale the lobby. I would stay here again though. Great location. The bar closing at 10 is a bit hurried. They turn off the fire pits and everything.
