OYO Hotel Tyler Northwest Mineola Hwy

The building was in construction. This is the second night I was without a roomi am very disappointed

I made reservations and when I showed up they were closed

They are closed! They don’t even take the time to let anyone know, it shows they have availability until you get there. And says NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS OR WALK INS”
But hotels.com didn’t get the memo!

Outside was typical, old off highway Outdoor Motel. Service was about what you would expect from a cheap Motel. The inside of the room was surprisingly updated and relatively clean. Our room however did not have any towels so I guess no shower....

The bedspread was not clean. There were roaches dead and alive. We asked to change rooms. They changed us. But the next was much better.

Terrible, room was disgusting, sheets stained room in poor condition bath rotting away. Car park full of massive pot holes... sure the hotel is up for demolishment soon.

It was actually very disappointing.
1. There were blood stains and cigarettes burnt on sheets. Pillow cases were yellowed from age.
2. Bath tub had pealed off paint at the bottom.
3. There was a dead cockroach underneath the desk.
4. Chair was disgusting old with worn vinyl.
We had to request a room changed and it was a little better without 1,2 and 3, but 4 was still the same. Also they required a $40 cash deposit whether with or without using a credit card, which was not noted in advance during booking.

Absolutely terrible! This was the WORSTplace i have ever stayed. .DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Our stay was clean and comfortable, and April at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, she really did go above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that we were comfortable.

Blood on the walls. STAINS on the sheets! Mildew in the fridge!

There were roaches and other bugs in the bathroom. The bathroom ceiling was coming apart. And trash on the groung

Filthy. Room smelled like an ashtray although ‘non-smoking’. Room was previously used as a ‘smoking’ room.

Well I didn’t have any soap or tissue in the restroom and it smelled really bad and it was not cleaned very well

We got a smoking room king size. Ashes were on the tub, hole in the wall, paint peeling, feet black from the floor not being cleaned, and a roach crawled out of the sink! Pot holes throughout the parking lot. Will not be back!

Very bad hotel soap was open rag was used dirty everywhere.

I was put in a room that was supposed to be non smoking it was not, there were bugs in the room, the room smelled of dog urine i have health conditions ,thay seem as thay don't care. It also looks as if I was charged twice for the room , once though yall and then my bank is not open till tomorrow please you can me at 4092240536

The room was not clean. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and a mop and wipe everything down. There was no iron or ironing board. It was located in a really bad area. Pictures on website make it look great and is very deceiving.

When I arrived in my room there were flies in the room. Killed six in first hour. Thought they might be coming from under bed so I checked and there was trash and a thick layer of dust under there. Got bit on my ankles throughout the night. Linens, particularly towels, were cheap. If you want the most economical hotel in Tyler this is it, but you get what you pay for.

Most run down hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Condition of room was awful...broken furniture. Exterior of hotel was terrible, the parking lot was pretty much unpaved and full of potholes, lawn furniture was destroyed.
