Central location, big room size, some of the staff was so friendly
The swimming pool isn’t really a pool you can swim, very small and narrow. Some room facilities don’t work such as the central charging port.

Stratos is such a beautiful venue especially the view over the city. Our waitress Maggy served us well and was really knowledgeable about the menu which generally is a let down at other establishments. Great service and delicious food.

The hotel front desk and staff were extremely kind and helpful in letting me know my way around and gave assistance to my enquiries.
Ziggo at the breakfast front desk simply energised you into the morning with his genuine upbeat greetings and enquiries after your well-being. Moses, a waiter at breakfast second guessed when you needed a service.
Very good hospitality and extra mile Smiley has to go to cater for the basic needs. Explained the menu very well and also did check in now and then if all is in order. Very kind and attentive to details. Excellent Service indeed!!!
Amazing stay, we are always welcome very well by the concierge team, especially Layla and Tracy, and Tisha. They are always so willing to help. The reception team is impeccable, the rooms are great and spacious. Three great restaurants. Love staying at avani!

I've stayed at this hotel twice before and found it very pleasant, but this time was disappointing. A colleague and I both had ribeye steak for dinner at Stratos Rooftop Restaurant - beautiful setting with great views - but both steaks were terrible: tough and full of sinews and definitely not AAA grade meat as advertised on the menu. Also, the live music in the restaurant was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. We complained about both experiences to our waiter who said he would relay the message to the manager - without a response. When I got back to my room that evening and wanted to have a shower, I found that there were no towels. Not a good evening! And not what one would expect from an upmarket hotel like this.
