Excellent location and super quality.
Pros:

Excellent location. Right next to all the bars and restaurants and just a 15 min walk to the train station. Fantastic value for money. A little slice of luxury. Everything was fab. The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable! The pool facilities were a lovely extra bonus too. I was very happily surprised when I found out it was included in the standard room fee. Will definitely be staying again in the future!

Cons:

Everything was great.

A great hotel, but look for discounts / deals!
Pros:

This is the second time I have stayed here, and I will be back. it's always a good place to stay, possibly not worth the "listed" price, but there are frequently good deals, either through specific credit cards, or through the hotel loyalty programme. The room was large and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. there was powerful air-conditioning, which was good due to the baking heat that weekend. The bathroom was clean and well proportioned. Breakfast was a good, wide buffet. As a deal I got from being in the loyalty club, it was a great offer - however, I am not sure it would be worth the quoted price with a general booking, and had a slightly smaller selection than it did the last time I stayed. On Saturday, breakfast staff were very attentive, however on Sunday they were a little less so. From the number of people at breakfast and in other areas of the hotel, along with the deep discount offered for that weekend, I suspect the hotel was not at full capacity, However, a few more interesting characters seemed to be staying in the hotel on my weekend, a few times on my second night I was briefly woken up by music coming through the wall from another room, I smelled cannabis in the lift on one occasion, and one group there were being difficult with staff. All of this was managed very well, and either briefly resolved itself or was managed very well by hotel staff. There were also clearly some VIP customers arriving or leaving over the weekend, but while it was obvious something odd was going, staff managed the situation well so it didn't detract from us regular people's stay. The pool and spa were a perfect addition as always. A group of other customers were ignoring the "no diving" signs, but this was again managed well by staff.

Finally, and this again does not reflect on the hotel at all, there is a lot of building work going on in the area. I was there over the weekend so it was not a huge problem, but it did lead to a lot of traffic disruption, and a less than luxurious view!

Loved the room and the meals in the restaurant
Pros:

The view, Air-conditioning, friendly and helpfull staff. Lifts were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

I paid extra for the club room expecting it to be like an airport lounge. How disappointed was I! food and drinks only available between 17:30 - 19:30. I finished work at Symphony Hall at 20:00. Was not value for money, no snacks, no wine. I was appalled ands would never, ever book this facility again. So disappointed. Can get a coffee anywhere. Cannot tell you how upset and frustrated I was.
