Important information:

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the hotel’s leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and whirlpool.

From Friday to Sunday, the swimming pool is restricted to adults only. Monday through Thursday, children 12 and above can use the hotel’s swimming pool, but they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

From 1 August to 31 August only, children 12 and above can use the hotel’s leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and whirlpool.

Children under 16 are not allowed to use the hotel’s gym.

Children 12 and above can use the hotel’s swimming pool, but they must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over.

A maximum of 2 children can accompany one adult.

Please note that our pool depth is 5.5 feet, and no shallow end exists.

Pros:

The staff were approachable and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean and also had basic amenities such as bottles of water along with free drinking water in the reception area. The breakfast also had good variety and was very nice.

Cons:

My only gripe was that the shower-head in the room's bathroom was positioned at only slightly above my height, due to this it was slightly uncomfortable to shower, at least from what I could tell the height of the head was unable to be adjusted.

First class accommodation and service - absolute winner for me
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing. Great choice provided. Staff were exceptional in looking after us. For the size of the hotel, it had a lovely tranquil feel to it. Rooms were well equipped and the beds super comfortable.

Cons:

That we had to check out and leave on the Sunday! I could have stayed longer :)

Left and got a refund .booked somewhere else
Pros:

Nothing ....I've lived in Birmingham but moved away I've stayed at this hotel lots of times .

Cons:

Seriously I think it's gone rubbish .
It used to be Birminghams top hotel but not anymore.
Staff cannot speak english very good .
The outside consieridge service not longer exists.
The free mini bus was gone .
Theres builders everywhere
Next time I'll book the Radission

Fantastic as always.
Pros:

Perfect hotel, prime location, fantastic staff and room was superb as always

Cons:

One afternoon / early evening the bar was closed for a private function which was not good as we were entertaining customers and guests during our 3 night stay. Would have been better if the private function was held elsewhere and not affecting paying guests during their stay.

The location and pool were great.

Cons:

The 50pound early check-in fee is an absolute grift. The room isn't being used, either let people check-in or don't. 50 pounds is insane for a few hours of extra access. You could tell by the script the employee used that they're used to people complaining about it.

The beds are really old and uncomfortable, as are the pillows. It felt like the centre of the mattress was caving in.

Don't get a massage from the spa. It was the laziest massage my wife and I have ever experienced. Absolute was of money.

First class service at the Hyatt Regency
Pros:

Our first time staying at the Hyatt Regency but it will certainly not be our last! Gorgeous hotel with incredible staff and a genuinely lovely atmosphere into the bargain. Has a very tranquil feel to it. Highly recommend
