Pros:

Room was spacious. Spa was very good and not busy so was able to use this a few times without any issue.

Cons:

Although there were parking spaces outside the hotel, you still had to pay (£27) and that did not guarantee you a space if you left the hotel which I dod multiple times so found myself waiting for a slot to free up before parking.
There was also an electric power outage for around 2 hours in the hotel which was bizarre. Had to wait in the lobby area and was not ideal at all.

Pros:

Loved the hotel and the location of the place with a great view over the Canal and city, the swimming pool and spa were great

Cons:

There was a power cut on site when we got in at night, and we had to climb the stairs to the 15th floor, only to find a Torch against the wall behind the TV, which I found strange. Are the power cuts a common thing!!

Pros:

Location good, cannot believe this is regarded one of the best hotels in Birmingham.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor. Eggs cold, took ages to clean our table - omelette overcooked. We didn’t even bother going back the following day for breakfast even though we had already paid for it.
Power cut while there which was in the evening around 8pm for 2x hours- no announcement, no compensation, no apology!
