Pros:

We love staying in the Novotel because of its location in the park in full nature, waking to the sound of the birds is calming. Staff very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast almost perfect (see below) but there is an excellent range and the room beside the pool area is bright and welcoming.

Cons:

The cooked food at breakfast was lukewarm not hot and this was added to by the plates being cold. A plate heater would help with this. 😉

Location great but dirty, tired, hot rooms.
Pros:

The only good thing about the hotel is the location - 10 minute walk from the centre of La Rochelle and the free, secure car park.

Cons:

The room was dirty, with white dog hairs and staining to the carpet.
The toilet is in a cupboard separate to the rest of the bathroom, with no handwashing facilities close by.
Novotel seemingly charge extra dog fees, but then give dog owning guests the worst rooms and don’t bother to clean them properly between guests.
The shower head was partially blocked so didn’t work properly.
The room was roasting hot, with the AC being on ‘heat mode’ despite it being 27 degrees outside.
When these issues were raised an indifferent apology was offered by reception.

Pros:

Emplacement parfait, à 19 minutes de la plage et 5 du centre ville. Personnel aux petits soins, chambre confortable, et propre.
Le restaurant offre une très belle carte , attention il vaut mieux réserver.
