Pros:

The female staff at the bar/restaurant in the evening

Cons:

The only thing that was disappointing was that I had noisy neighbours who were shouting instead of talking to one another in the corridor early evening...and again later that night. I thought to ring reception but there was no answer

Good value, safe and enjoyable.
Pros:

Room was quite bare but good size. Really excellent high quality toiletries in the bathroom, surprisingly. Fairly quiet, and the air con worked. Breakfast was good and allowed to book it later on in the day before and not just at check in to get the reduced rate. Lovely gardens.

Cons:

Although good soap and shower gel, some lotion would have been welcome. Strange having loo separate, didn't mind separate but the loo was in a tiny room like a cupboard which would have been claustrophobic if I had to close the door. Probably better for groups and families than solo. water was only provided on day 1, should have been each day (and in a can which I didn't like).

Great location, lovely breakfast and good value for money.
Pros:

Location was great. Reception was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was really good.

Cons:

The room. A separate toilet with no hand wash facilities was gross. Having to touch door handles, light switches without washing my hands was really grim. The position of the bed was ridiculous. There was not enough room to get out of bed on one side without brushing against the whole wall. Not very nice.

Ok for one night, go elsewhere for a longer stay

Probably suited to airport type travellers, people staying for a night

Cons:

Past its best, looks like it was another hotel at one point acquired by Novotel. Breakfast was pretty poor considering the cost. Bed uncomfortable. Weird toilet/sink layout. Bottom floor lift had bin store next to it and the door was always open which didn’t feel very secure.
