There was plenty of food for breakfast. The staff was filling the stations as soon as they emptied.
Nothing
So close to airport!!
Bathroom toilet very tight to door.
The location was walking distance from the terminal. The staff were great! The general manager was a fantastic man who showed so much pride in his work, Marriott is lucky to have such great people.
No complaints
next to airport; quick easy walk to catch plane
can’t saw there was anything
I could walk to airport
That there was supposed to be a room available.
There wasn't a room available. You never had a room for me. My wife was stranded in the airport. You took my money and ignored me. The room couldn't be confirmed on your end apparently, my wife slept on the airport floor, yet you kept our money and didn't refund us.
Comfortable, located super close to the airport terminal, staff were very friendly, breakfast offer was good and very well tended to by the staff member.
Dust bunnies in corners of the room portray a speedy clean rather than a thorough one. The rest of the room and bathroom were clean though.
Comfortable beds
It's a bed, was gritty. Felt like sand was on it. And the toilet had brown stuff around the rim. I had to reclaim the bathroom and remake the bed with fresh sheets. The girl working at the front desk was very sweet, though.
We had limited time choices flying from JFK up to Rochester so being able to walk outside the airport just before midnight and take a few short steps to the hotel was perfect and very reasonably priced.
The best feature other than the convenience is the breakfast setup. It's in a large greenhouse type room with plenty of seating and the best selection of food we've seen for this level of hotel in ages. Everything was clean and well stocked.
The room itself is on the smaller side, the toilet is literally right behind the bathroom door. The sound when it flushes is insanely loud and woke the other person up every time. The mirror fogs completely over. The only noise we experienced was from the housekeeping staff talking loudly around 8AM in Spanish and when we walked out at 8:30 they did quickly say hello in English and went right back to carrying on a full, animated conversation just outside of the rooms.
Will most likely return again as our son has 2 more years at St. John Fisher University and this is a very convenient option when flying in.
Proximity to airport
Breakfast was only ok, not great. Room was pricey, but ok because right on the airport itself.
When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and helpfulness from front office supervisor Chardonnay Jeffries and the general manager Gary Ransom. They both went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and important. I would return to this hotel solely based on the experience and interactions I had with them.
It was a lovely experience. There wasn't anything I did not like.
Clean and updated and stocked.
Nothing.
