Excellent spacious room and bathroom ,ample tea, coffee& biscuits & toiletries, very quiet , excellent location close to kinema shops pubs, very nice selection of food at breakfast very clean and inviting, ample parking would definitely stay again . No complaints
Beautiful rooms in a gorgeous location. We will be back.
Everything, the staff were excellent. Great room very spacious, would definitely go back
Staff were friendly and professional .
There wasnt anything we didnt like !
Clean and modern interior
No desk light and room was very warm
The staff were very friendly service was good , our room was large and very clean a good location
Our ground floor room in the lodge was more or less on a car park , a car was parked directly under our window , the lodge was very noisy doors banging , inconsiderate people shouting about in the foyer adjacent to our room , breakfast not worth the money the bacon so hard you couldn't chew it , I asked for mushrooms with my scrambled egg got one flat mushroom yogurt in a jar to spoon out no separate pots of different flavours pastries were very dry
Period property, which was why I booked, so a little disappointed to be put in the new external bedroom. Having to put your coat on to go to breakfast, that was served in the main building.
Location was fantastic, near to the antique shops in Horncastle and a shot drive to the seaside.
Beautiful buildings, short walk to village, rooms were large, very clean and nicely decorated.
Nothing
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was a great size for us, good internet connection which was useful as unexpectedly I had work to do whilst there. The breakfast was sufficient, lovely flavoured and high quality, poached eggs were perfect. Recommended.
I wish they had a less formal option for dining in the evening. Maybe a club sandwhich and chips, a burger option or somethin more 'bar snack' style of food. There were quite a few of us who actually went out one evening for food so I'm afraid Dower lost out on good income. My wife had a starter and I had a main course on one evening, and although very good indeed it was a case of needs must.
Room beautiful, bed comfortable
Staff always smiling and helpful
The light outside my room shone under the door all night and kept me awake - I was in room 8 in The Lodge. I couldn't find where to switch it off.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Staff were very friendly
Real fire in the snug which was lovely
The room was cold but we found a heater in the cupboard.
The bathroom had. Lear glass in the window which was unusual and lacked privacy.
Beautiful location, ideal being in the lodge no outdoor hotel corridor noise. Lovely big room, very clean and well equipped
Could do with plumper pillows
Big clean room
We stayed at Lodge house. No connection, the bathroom was cold.
Breakfast was ok but waited 45 minutes to get it.
Beautiful place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful, evening meal was excellent
Nothing not to like
Oda temiz
Kahvaltı çok geç geldi
Oda soğuk
The Dower House has been my go to place for coffee with friends for quite some time now & is most certainly my favourite!
Very cosy, comfortable space, varied choice of drinks & very nice views out of the large windows.
The young staff are all friendly, polite, efficient & chatty (if that’s what the customer wants) & everywhere is spotlessly clean.
First visit to the hotel due to a vist in a nearby village.. had b/b & when we arrived enjoyed a fabulous lunch served by fabulous team of people.. will certainly visit again & if we do move to Lincolnshire it maybe our please to go
Beautiful building large rooms great parking
