Location: just beside union station.
Short walk to capitol.
Lovely spacious room and decoration.
Air condition fan runs on and off very noisy, maid came knocking at door at 8am for the room service the morning we were checking out at 10am... extra fee $35 daily just for 2 bottles of water, a free cocktail at arrival and self service laundry.. look carefully before you book.

Gostei de tudo.
Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und gestaltet. Lila Wandfarbe, tolle Bilder mit schwarz-weiß Fotografien der Sehenswürdigkeiten von Washington und silbernen Rahmen an der Wand. Ausgestattet war das Zimmer zusätzlich mit zwei Sesseln und Hockern, mit einem relativ großen Kühlschrank, Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen und Safe. Es gab mehr als genügend Handtücher im Bad, genügend Ablageflächen und einen Bademantel. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte hervorragend, war nur etwas laut.
Das Bett war sehr bequem.
Auch wenn das Zimmer zur Straße hinaus lag, so war es nachts sehr ruhig.
Sollte man mit dem Zug anreisen, so liegt das Hotel supergünstig. Union Station ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Ansonsten sind das Capitol und die Mall bzw. die vielen Museen fußläufig zu erreichen.
Im 2. Stock gab es Kaffeeautomaten und daher gab es im Zimmer keinen Wasserkocher für Kaffee oder Tee.
Coffee 24/7 wurde jedoch als besonderes Angebot hervogehoben. Wir fanden das jedoch nicht besonders praktisch.
Da wir morgens nichts frühstücken, ist ein Kaffee im Bett etwas, was wir sehr schätzen. Das bedeutete jedoch, dass man das Zimmer verlassen und mit dem Lift in den 2. Stock fahren musste, um Kaffee zu holen. Und dieser war jetzt auch nicht unbedingt besser, als ein löslicher Nescafé.
Im Bad war die Beleuchtung relativ dunkel, sodass das Schminken oder Rasieren nicht so einfach war.
Außer dem zum Hotel dazugehörigen Irish Pub und einem weiteren Irish Pub nebenan (nicht so toll) gab es in der Gegend nur wenige Restaurants, Cafés oder Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Die meisten waren im Bahnhof oder etwas weiter weg.
Very clean and comfortable. Always a great room. Reasonably priced in a very convenient location. I believe this is our third stay and we love it every time. The 24 hour coffee/hot drink machine is top notch.
Our stay at the Phoenix Park Hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Union Station and many of Washington’s main attractions, making it incredibly easy to explore the city.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with plenty of character, while still offering all the modern comforts you need. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable after long days of sightseeing.
What really made our stay stand out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel valued throughout our visit.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend the Phoenix Park Hotel to anyone visiting Washington, D.C. A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location!
We took the Amtrak into DC- this hotel is literally accross the street from the Union Station- could not be more convenient! A short 10 minute walk to the Capital Building. The Dubliner has the best grub! And live music ! Hotel is CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL condition and the staff is FANTASTIC!

I forgot my bag at their pub sitting outside on the curb.. it had everything i owned, cash, passport, cards basically everything.
At 3 am it struck me that I've forgotten it at the pub.. the person at the front desk helped us out and made sure we find it, also thanks to the pub staff for safekeeping it, or else I dont know how we could continue our vacation. Thank u staff and management.
