Fabulous location opposite the main train station and walkable to many main sights and Metro. Comfortable bed, simple but great room. Complimentary glass of wine in The Dubliner (good food too) and a great bakery/diner cafe just outside the hotel too.
The fabulous view of the beautiful Union Station comes with police siren noise (!) but we were provided with ear plugs !!

The Phoenix Park Hotel is such a spectacular place to in which to base our annual Washington, D.C. fly-in. The hotel is very nice, the staff are terrific to work with, and the food is phenomenal. Having the Dubliner Restaurant at the hotel also offers a unique dining experience with a bar and an outdoor seating area.
I cannot say enough good things about Janice Washington, the Phoenix Park's sales and catering coordinator. I have organized our event for 12 years now, and working with Janice makes everything so smooth and well organized. We travel from Alaska for this event, so making sure everything is ready to go when we get there is crucial. In all the years I've organized this conference I've never had a single thing go wrong at the hotel. In fact, Janice and the staff have bent over backward to accommodate our requests and last-minute changes.
The meeting rooms on the second floor of the hotel are perfect for hosting our breakfast meeting and for having speakers attend as well. There is always a hotel staff nearby in case we need anything and also just generally making sure all is going well. That kind of attention is very valuable. I don't even have to think about the food or the room with everything else I have going on.
I honestly think part of the reason some of our members attend this conference is because the Phoenix Park is so nice.
If you are looking for a fancy hotel that is located in a hard to beat place for meeting with congressional offices and federal agencies, the Phoenix Park Hotel is the hotel for you.
Great location, great room, amazing service. The front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and make our stay more comfortable. The Dubliner being onsite was a nice added bonus! We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a great location! The hotel staff was also amazing! Janice Washington, our Sales and Events Coordinator was a pleasure to work with. Additionally, Chef Mary prepared some incredible meals for our event. We will be booking again for our group!

Location near Union Station was great for arrival by Amtrak, subway access and rental car pickup when we were leaving DC.
Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Decent food at meeting. Close to Capitol Hill, so great for advocacy fly ins. Great Irish pub attached, perfect for gathering post meeting. Busy area, so leave extra time for Uber or lyft!
Clean and modern rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was amazing. The Dubliner was an excellent restaurant and had live music every night. I was very happy with my experience.
