It was just fine, I expected more for the price
Pros:

Staff was friendly enough, room was nice and the location was good

Cons:

There was no breakfast, I went to get coffee and the drip trays on both machines were full, the mattress had a very large stain on the side of it. There was a noticeable repair in the bathroom where the paint did not match

My stay was excellent. Great for one person alone.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent with very good service
Location was excellent if arriving by train, only a short walk from Washington Union Station
Staff was helpful and friendly
Restaurant was very good with friendly staff

Cons:

I am slightly handicapped. The shower had no grab bars and the shower floor was very slippery.

Fine for a short stay
Pros:

Location is decent and the 24 hour coffee bar was a wonderful addition! Hotel is close to union station and the capital, a nice walking area that feels mostly safe. Staff were helpful and beds were comfortable, AC worked really well in the room, and they offer free laundry services.

Cons:

The hotel was just fine, I would not stay again. We had an issue in our room where whenever the guest above us went to the bathroom, the smell wafted into our room via the vents. Not even coming from our own bathroom, literally like through the walls. It was awful because the other guest was apparently having some major stomach problems. I’m not even sure what could be done to mitigate this other than a complete ventilation system upgrade. We did not like that the very few places to eat nearby besides one local sports bar (Hamilton’s) and the food in union station, were very over priced. We know that DC in general is expensive, but the Dubliner downstairs for example, is charging upwards of $25 for a basic breakfast plate. Our entire family actually ate for less in the Natural History museum than we did at places near the hotel, which I think speaks volumes to how expensive everything in the area is (lol).

Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.I had a wonderful time. I was recommended by my son. I would definitely come back again.

2 blocks from Union Station. The restaurant had Breakfast, lunch& dinner. 20 min walk to the Capital. Friendly and helpful staff.

Not particularly fond of facilities fees that added up to $32 a day which included coffee ,water and free wi fi though.
