Restless stay, ruined day
Cons:

I’ve stayed in this hotel several times before. Previously everything was great.

This time as usual, I asked for the quite room and I was provided with room with windows inwards, kinda quite, but at 6 am the some sort of sirens or vent started to work right by the window making its impossible to rest even with earplugs

that’s ruined the whole experience

Excellent rapport qualité prix
Pros:

J’ai adoré l’esthétique de l’hôtel un peu vieillie, mais restant très confortable (style victorien). J’étais dans une standard double room. Très confortable (lit, fauteuil, penderie, salle de bain avec baignoire). Les gaufres le matin étaient délicieuses ! Petit déjeuner complet pour commencer sa journée (bon rapport qualité/prix) pour qui ne s’attend pas à des produits exceptionnels (difficile de trouver autre chose que du café comme bonne boisson par exemple).

Cons:

Le service était plutôt moyen le matin (impossibilité de trouver du lait chaud, pas de réponses claires, les tables ne sont pas mises, ce qui n’est pas très agréable pour un hôtel qui veut afficher un standing luxe.)
L’hôtel n’avait pas l’air d’être complet mais toutes les chambres autour de moi étaient bien remplies. On entend pas mal les bruits à côté quand discussions ou TV et un peu les bruits de la rue.
Une nuit (1h-4h du matin), des personnes n’arrêtaient pas de circuler dans les couloirs et cela m’a réveillée plusieurs fois.

At first glance, I was a bit worried, but after a day/night there, I settled in and found the charm.
Pros:

Great location. Room was a bit dated, but had a certain kind of old fashion charm to it. It's a bit of a throw-back experience for sure. Independent hotel, definitely not a chain, so you miss some of those quality standards.
