Disappointing, almost a scam

Cons:

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. The facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. For example, the shower tap would not shut off properly, so we had to listen to the constant dripping water every night. We could also clearly hear the toilets flushing in the rooms above us. The breakfast was very limited, and items frequently ran out without being replenished promptly. The Wi-Fi in the room was also extremely unreliable and worked very poorly.

However, the most serious issue was the unauthorised charges to my credit card. The hotel charged me without my consent during my stay and continued charging me after I had checked out. Even several days after checkout, I was still receiving restaurant invoices for items I had never ordered or consumed. I ultimately had to block my credit card to stop the charges!

Before my stay began. I needed assistance the day after my booking, and they did not respond. My colleague had to call them and also Booking staff. They blamed Booking.com, saying it was their responsibility to handle my request, while Booking.com blamed the hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel, and I strongly advise future guests to exercise caution when providing their payment details.

Everything was great…..

Cons:

The only problem we had happened at checkout and was 100the valet, we were told it would be 15 min for our car, we waited half hour and then inquired was told it was “on the way” we waited another half hour for the car after asking a couple people to check on it. An hour. For our car. I’m sad to say we had a very nice tip for the valet but declined to tip as an hour is excessive. I’ve never waited so long for a valet in my life.

Amazing location downtown
Pros:

Location is excellent, right next to the CN Tower. We got a free room upgrade which was nice. Room was spacious and view of downtown was nice.

Cons:

Outdated decor in bedroom, furniture in need of replacement or cleaning and was too big for the small room, it was also too heavy to move. Very old style noisy air conditioner that blew anything loose around the room and the front panel didn't shut properly so flies entered the room. The wooden box surrounding the mattress jutted out at the corners with pointy dangerous edges. The little fridge dripped water.

Séjour agréable
Pros:

Chambre spacieuse et belle salle de bain.
Bon confort et très bel emplacement au sein du Complexe Rogers et à deux pas de la gare Union Station, de la Marina de la tour CN et du centre ville.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner pas très varié.
Les moquettes des chambres deviennent vieillissante.

We came for baseball and not have to go home after which we did. Had the best time. Thank you.
