Disastrous! You don’t treat people this way & then charge them over $400 for the experience!
Pros:

I drove to NY from Chicago to attend a funeral. I arrived late Thursday evening, checked in & immediately crashed. I woke up to go to the bathroom & the toilet wouldn’t flush. I got dressed & went to the front desk because I didn’t want to wake my husband. I was told there was no engineer on duty & that it would be fixed 1st thing in the morning. We got up the next morning to get ready for my mother in law’s funeral & the toilet no one had shown to fix the toilet! On the way out we stopped at the desk a second time & told the people the toilet was still broken. We got back to the hotel about 5/5:30 Friday evening & stopped by the desk on the way to our room to speak w/ a manager about the toilet & the manager told us she didn’t know anything about it, that no one had communicated to her our toilet was broken. She asked us to wait while she checked into it. At this point we were beyond furious! While we stood there waiting, she told us she could take 30% off of Thursday night’s stay, but that’s all she could do. I didn’t want my husband going to jail & he had just buried his mother, so I took him over to the couch in the lobby & we waited there to find out if the toilet in our rm had been fixed. We sat there about 25 minutes & she (the manager) walked up to the couch we were sitting on, told us the toilet had been fixed, turned & walked away. No apology, no accomodation other than 30% off for the 1st nite & not one hint of empathy or compassion for our experience!! We were too tired to go home at that moment so we went to the rm, crashed & checked out Saturday morning. This was the WORST experience we have EVER had staying at ANY hotel & it will certainly be our last staying at a Wyndham hotel!!! At the VERY least we should’ve been comped for the 1st night & offered a genuine, sincere, heartfelt apology & not the indifference, disregard & lack of concern we received!

Cons:

Absence of empathy! She acted like we were supposed to be grateful that she gave us a 30% discount when we shouldn’t have had to pay anything as the room was unfit to sell in the 1st place! We had to go to the McDonalds across the street to use the bathroom on the way to my mother in law’s funeral…that’s unacceptable on any level!!!

Comfy, can be a bit noisy
Pros:

Great hotel, one thing to be aware of is that the club on the ground floor is a bit noisy on weekend nights. Room service was really good. Great staff.

Cons:

Walls are not soundproof, could hear other guests' conversations.

Great place to stay in Mew Rochelle!
Pros:

The room was very large. The Hotel actually has a restaurant downstairs where you can eat, drink and dance and the employees are all extremely sweet.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit small but I understand why (More space was used for the actual room). There were also no picture listed anywhere for the bathroom which is always important to me when staying somewhere. Although it was small, it was clean, good water pressure and HOT water which is more important to me than the size.
