Perfect location. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom was small. I would prefer a slightly larger bathroom to place personally items on the counter.
Very nice hotel and rooms. Very clean
Only issue was the hotel was so extremely busy. Not the hotels fault but their was Supercross in Indy, college basketball, a wedding. Just super busy and an elevator was down so had to wait a long time for elevators.
Having been impressed spending time with a colleague at the Omni San Diego, I decided to give the Omni in Indianapolis a try for a long weekend get away.
The rooms are nice. People you interact with are friendly, but what is going on with this hotel?
Check in went fine and we got our two adjoining/suite rooms. Rooms are good but bathroom ventilation is minimal (long shower after pool - perfectly good).
Where things got odd was we decided to order room service and literally could not reach anyone at the number directed after four tries (twice each room).
So I walked downstairs, no one is manning concierge desk. The gentleman at their (largely takeaway) restaurant apologized and says desk should have taken care of it. He was lovely and told me he’d bring food to me at bar across the foyer. Bar service good.
Next morning go out for day. Oddly there was a car missing back panel parked there but valet guy seemed on top of things.
Come back in evening. NEITHER ROOM IS CLEANED. I have had it with efforts to cut costs. They give you like four ways to opt in to declining cleaning service and say they will donate a lunch to needy if you do. I’m going to sound awful but we didn’t stay at a VRBO partly for the reason of cleaning. I did not put the placard up. I didn’t call down (no one would have answered). I didn’t tell the desk to do this.
In short, I paid for a service I did not receive. Omni cut its costs and didn’t give me what I paid for.
Apologies for a bad review but this was blatant cost cutting and lacking service at what is supposed to be a good brand.
Cleanliness & location
There was no water for part of our stay. When it came back on there was only cold water no hot.
The mattress was super soft and the location was amazing and the rooms were very luxurious.
The size of the room and the small elevator being on the 12th floor posed an issue at times
We were here for the PBR bull riding event. Hotel was in a great location with 5 -minute walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Hotel very nice, clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Noise was big issue, cars outside hotel till after 1 AM playing loud music, that even with my earphones in watching on my iPad, I could still hear the sound very loud in room. when my husband called down to desk to complain, was told there was nothing they could do, and if we wanted, WE could call police, but it wouldn't help, they wouldn't do anything!! also, Wi-Fi was very poor, had trouble getting devices connected, and once we did, it was slow or we would lose the connection. In the morning, my husband went down to front desk to discuss our concerns, Javier was on duty and was AWESOME, very polite and responded positively to our concerns, apologized and made us feel like guests at Omni were important. Javier is a great representative of what "customer service" should be.
Nice location within 5 minutes of the Fieldhouse. Close to several diners and bars. Visited during St. Patrick’s Day so there was a lot of action that weekend.
We loved the atmosphere, and the decor. The staff was courteous and polite.
The price was a little steep to not enclude some kind of breakfast. And the valet wait times was very long.
Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful
It was a little pricey but you get what you pay for
I loved the hotel itself The room with the balcony was nice. It was colder than i thought it was honna be so i couldn't enjoy the balcony
It was Cardi B concert the night i stayed and valet took for ever. The next morning around 9, it was sounding like some kind of alarm going off in the halls, it woke me up I was pissed My check out wasn't until 12pm, i think i checked out around 10 something
