飯店要入住時要收取住房押金／保證金 Security Deposit 可以理解（雖然也不是什麼太高檔的飯店），但退還竟然要退房後兩個星期，時間也太久了，對於這點很不滿意

The Hotel is old but well maintained. Immaculate, clean.


Two amazing restaurants in the place.

Cons:

Staff struggle with English. It took us 5 minutes of trying to explain that we want a chicken ceasar salad. Still got no chicken.

There was a day where didnt clean the room. So we asked for some toilet paper. Couldn't get it

Breakfast would run out by 9 AM. They wouldn't restock many items for 15 minutes until we asked

A good stay in Bangkok
Pros:

Solo travelers I think would feel comfortable here, though aimed more towards couples. Fairly easy access from Phaya Thai station. Proper sidewalk so big suitcases shouldn't be a problem. Staff were very polite and suitcase storage even after checkout was offered for free. Fairly big breakfast selection, including a few vegetarian options. Fruit selection did change from day to day which was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Even on the "near-the-bottom" 7th floor, it was quiet despite being next to a large road. Comfortable beds and they were happy to offer room cleaning at irregular hours. I do like that the security also was kept moderately strict. At least in my case, they would check that nobody uninvited could come up to your room. I only visually checked the gym and pool, but they both looked nice and well kept.

Cons:

I wanted to try to the Lotus Spa located inside the hotel, but they overbooked and cancelled my appointment with only a short notice. Two times (Both separate days). I wish they had a better booking system which made overbookings impossible because it does seem popular.
The wardrobe light was a bit fiddly to get to turn off and one of the bathroom switches was glitchy (it could have been the lightbulb but unsure).
