Uma estadia excelente.
Pros:

Café da manhã muito bom e farto.
Localização perfeita. Perto da Universidade, do comércio, bares e restaurantes. Porém, bem silencioso.

Cons:

Poderiam servir uns petiscos no bar do hotel.

Absolument tout, la propreté est la, le personnel est très gentil, les chambres (même la simple) sont très bien, l’emplacement était nickel, aussi bien pour faire les choses à pieds que pour se déplacer en transport, c’est super.

Schönes Hotel, aber leider sehr unprofessioneller Umgang mit Gästen
Pros:

Die Lage war wirklich gut. Das Hotel ist umgeben von Bars und Restaurants. Zu Fuß braucht man 10 Minuten zum Plaça de Catalunya.

Cons:

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit privaten Terrassen und eigenem Pool gebucht, für die wir bewusst einen deutlichen Aufpreis gezahlt haben. Bereits beim Check-in haben wir extra nach den Poolnutzungszeiten gefragt. Uns wurde ausdrücklich gesagt, dass wir den Pool grundsätzlich jederzeit nutzen könnten, lediglich mit der Bitte, abends rücksichtsvoll zu sein.

Am Freitag- und Samstagabend saßen wir zeitweise zu viert zwischen etwa 21 und 23 Uhr auf einer der Terrassen und unterhielten uns ganz normal. Keine Party, keine Musik, kein bewusst verursachter Lärm. Dennoch wurden wir mehrfach auf angebliche Beschwerden angesprochen. Unter anderem hieß es zunächst sogar, es sei Musik gelaufen, was schlichtweg nicht stimmte. Als wir das bestritten, wurde uns stattdessen vorgeworfen, wir hätten zu laut gesprochen.

Am Sonntag waren unsere Zimmerkarten plötzlich deaktiviert, sodass wir nicht mehr in unsere Zimmer kamen und zur Rezeption gehen mussten. Dort wurden wir erneut mit den Beschwerden konfrontiert. Eine Zimmerkarte bewusst zu deaktivieren, nur um Gäste auf diese Weise zu einem Gespräch zu zwingen, empfinden wir als völlig unangemessen.

Hinzu kam die widersprüchliche Kommunikation bezüglich des Pools: Erst hieß es, der Pool sei grundsätzlich jederzeit nutzbar. Dann erhielten wir ein Schreiben, laut dem die Nutzung ab 20 Uhr untersagt sei. Schließlich wurde uns gesagt, dass uns die Nutzung nun verboten werde und bei weiteren angeblichen Verstößen die Polizei gerufen würde. Für einen Bereich, den wir extra gebucht und bezahlt hatten, war das besonders enttäuschend.

Das eigentliche Problem war für uns nicht, dass es Beschwerden gab. Das Problem war die Art und Weise, wie damit umgegangen wurde: einseitige Vorwürfe, ohne wirklich Interesse daran zu zeigen, auch unsere Seite anzuhören. Besonders eine Rezeptionistin ist uns dabei äußerst negativ aufgefallen. Sie war während der gesamten Diskussion sehr unfreundlich und sprach in einem herablassenden, belehrenden Ton mit uns.

Absolut enttäuschender Umgang mit Gästen

Unser Aufenthalt wurde leider durch das äußerst unfreundliche und respektlose Verhalten des Personals überschattet. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass uns plötzlich vorgeworfen wurde, lautstark gewesen zu sein und andere Gäste gestört zu haben. Dieser Vorwurf war für uns völlig unverständlich, da wir uns zu keiner Zeit unangemessen oder besonders laut verhalten haben.

Was mich besonders gestört hat, war die Art und Weise, wie mit uns gesprochen wurde. Anstatt freundlich nachzufragen oder die Situation vernünftig zu klären, wurden wir direkt mit einem Vorwurf konfrontiert, für den es aus unserer Sicht keinerlei Grundlage gab. Ein solcher Umgang ist für mich absolut inakzeptabel.

Gerade von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarte ich einen gewissen Standard an Höflichkeit, Respekt und Professionalität. Leider haben wir davon in dieser Situation nichts gespürt. Man sollte sich als zahlender Gast nicht das Gefühl geben müssen, sich für etwas rechtfertigen zu müssen, das man überhaupt nicht getan hat.

Diese Erfahrung hat unseren Aufenthalt leider nachhaltig negativ beeinflusst. Für mich ist ein solches Verhalten keinesfalls der Standard, den man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten darf. Wir werden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht noch einmal buchen und können es aufgrund dieser Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen.

A chic hotel in a great location
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location in central Barcelona where you can either walk to some attractions or catch a train to those a bit further as there is a train station very close by to the hotel. There were lots of shops and restaurants close to the hotel also. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size and clean.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have more vegan options for breakfast. As a result, it was not good value for money.

Friendly , welcoming and central hotel
Pros:

I liked the helpful staff who offered solutions and were considerate. I loved also the location. Close to city center. and the area is very reputable and good.

Cons:

The fact that i didn't use the metro as much going in and back to the hotel since the metro wasn't very near. I relied mainly on foot and on taxis which was a bit tiring and expensive at times.
