Mount Stewart Hotel

Lovely room comfortable bed and really quiet no noise at night so great sleep. Dinner was lovely , surroundings beautiful with live music played on tbe piano. Great selection of food on menu which tasted fabulous. The bar is a lovely vibrant place with great selection of drinks. Finally the breakfast was amazing and served by a lovely lady who made sure we didn’t want for anything. Thankyou for a fabulous stay 😊

Offered a complimentary mini bar on the Expedia web page when we got there said that promotion was finished fridge in the room didn’t even work had to come home early due to a family member suddenly taken Ill wouldn’t refund us for going away a day early pretty poor

Fabulous location,comfy room, excellent check in. Very poor terrace bar service dissuaded us from using the restaurant at all.

Hotel is lovely however during my 3 night stay for 2 days we had no hot water to have a wash and was having to boil a kettle to have a strip wash in the sink so not a great experiance, hotel has offered a 25% discount on a future stay as a way of an apology which i will not be doing and in my opinion isn't enough.

Loved the Stunning Views from our room overlooking the open sea as well as the harbour area.
The ALL staff were friendly, polite and very helpful .
The evening meals were delicious and the breakfast was very good as well.
Room was huge and spotless.
We will definitely be back sometime soon.

The hotel in general was nice with free parking. Staff very friendly, Room was a bit small with only natural light coming from bathroom window. We could hear music from bar and one night this went on until 23:15. Food was a bit disappointing, we had lobster one night and it was tiny and smothered in cheese which ruined the taste. Other meals though were ok and large portions. Good location to be able to walk down to village.

Room very comfortable. We only stayed for one night and checked out early, before breakfast.
Outside temperatures were 30C, with no aircon the room could benefit from a fan. just a minor suggestion. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Great views out to sea. We watched dolphins, which was unexpected!

A lovely little boutique hotel overlooking the Portpatrick harbour and the sea. Stayed in the Buchanan room which had a direct sea view. The hotel and room were immaculate and furnished to a very high standard!

Had a lovely stay. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Service was really good. Friendly staff. Food was decent too. Would recommend.

Hotel was quiet which worked for us. Food and service excellent. Pillows need upgraded.

Lovely location on top of hill with great sea views. Our room, Buchanan, had a table and chairs in front of window with sofa and then bed behind them. Could see the sea from all. Bed was comfy and bath also has sea view. Staff friendly and very accommodating (went during COVID circuit breaker 2 weeks). Had dinner in room which was very tasty. Portpatrick is a quiet, scenic harbour village with a few eating options, walks and can be a base for exploring area. Would recommend and will come again.
