The staff was great in helping getting in and out of building. Did have an elevator to get to upper floors
Handicap room was at the far end of a 75ft hallway and we were unable to walk that far. Staff exchanged the room for one on first floor. Hotel must be quite old as building needs renovated. Room was small for 4 people (3adults & 1child). Concrete on outside of building was cracked and pitted making use of a walker or wheelchair very difficult. Doors to outside rooms were not wide enough for a large wheelchair. Door sills were also too high too get a wheelchair over. The throw rug in the main entrance was ripped & was a trip hazard. The flooring in the hallways was different levels and is also a trip hazard. I would have to say I don't believe the place is ADA compliant
The room itself was smaller when walker or wheelchair take up space. Very difficult to access the bathroom. There were no grab bars and is horrible for a large person to maneuver around. The amenities are old school but did have plenty of USB outlets for electronics. The beds were high and hard for a handicapped person to get into. The mattresses were also on metal boxes and would boom when you moved on the bed. Like laying on a kettle drum making sleeping interruptions constant.
Friendly staff, good location
Some cosmetic issues, broken corners, 3rd floor door to “stairs” (which are outside the building) doesn’t lock.
Location was close to interstate with lots of restaurants nearby.
Aging building without much for updates. Curtains were ripped and falling off. Being next to interstate was quite noisy.
Staff is very courteous. The hotel is dog friendly
Since the highway is close it was a bit noisy
Convenient
There were police there every night.
It was a small room but comfortable for my needs and clean
The guest service that was checking me out wouldn’t give a receipt and began yelling at me that it was not practice since I went through a third party but I was able to call later and get the assistance by another receptionist, I just needed a receipt showing verification of my staff, I wouldn’t stay again if I would have to deal with the same one at check out
Proximity to our venue close to reaturants
They didn't have butter for waffles said they did away with butter because they did away with toast switching breakfast options
Honestly, it wasnt a very pleasant stay. The first day and a half, the television and the microwave in my room didnt work. They asked for an additional $100 at check in for extra amenities, which I wasnt aware of at time of booking. Then I checked out early, 2 1/2 days early and wasnt offered any kind of refund for not needing the room. I was dealing with my father being in the hospital and babysitting my parents dog. Thought the hospital was gonna keep him until Monday yet released him Friday afternoon. So I checked out soon after they came and picked up their dog. Aproximately, 4 or 430 Friday afternoon
Easy to book and get to.
Overall appearance of the facility looked rough. Paint chipping everywhere, stairs worn, concrete and asphalt around the outside was dirty and cracked. The bathroom in my room wasn't the cleanest. Stained towels and the soap/shampoo bottles were not wiped clean. Shower water temperature never got hot. Also could not set a sleep timer on the TV.
The breakfast was ok
Basic cold Breakfast was disappointed that I couldn't get juice for free. But I wasn't going to pay $3 for a bottle juice.
Had A blizzard On the night that we arrived, parking lot was full of snow even in the morning made it very hard to walk, and the vending machines were not kept full.
