Me encantó el tamaño de las habitaciones y su ubicación.
Nada, todo me gustó.
Staff was professional, friendly and very courteous. Rooms were clean and tidy. We had dessert and coffee to end a fun night out in New York at Scarpetta in Sevelle Hotel.
I liked our deluxe king room and the location of the hotel
Every day we picked up our car from valet services it was over an hour wait. On our last day I made a point to request the car at 7:40am and we did not get our car until 9:15am. I never write negative reviews but this is just unacceptable. I understand being prepared for an hour wait but more than 1 hour should not be happening when paying $100/day for valet. We notified valet and the manager and nothing was done for us other than an apology and a plea for more patience.
Great hotel. Close to everything yet still quiet. Big room with a fair rate for two queen beds—needed for our family. Ricardo at the front desk was welcoming and went above and beyond. Nice luxury touches make it feel like a vacation not just a room in New York.
No water in the rooms - you have to pay extra for this. A bit rude considering the price of the room. The restaurant you have to book ahead, even if you are a guest of the hotel, they won't fit you in as open to the public so you won't be able to eat there. Only one staff member for breakfast so we gave up waiting and left.
Receptionists were polite though, but would have been great to have been told you need to book if you want any food in the place.
We just had a great stay here! The hotel was great all around--location can't be beat, nice lobby, friendly staff, comfy beds, and quite a large room for NYC standards!! We even had a separate shower and bathtub and appreciated the little table and chairs. Was very clean and comfortable. Quiet, too, on the 12th floor. I think for this price point, you are not going to find better in NYC! Will definitely return for our next visit and have already recommended to several friends!
My parents recently stayed at the Seville and, although much of their visit was pleasant, their departure left them feeling taken advantage of.
When they asked the hotel doorman for help getting a taxi to LaGuardia Airport, he did not simply hail one of the passing yellow cabs. Instead, he said he knew a particularly good driver and directed them to a specific yellow taxi.
My parents visit New York regularly and know that a yellow-taxi trip to LaGuardia should be charged using the meter. The driver took an unusual toll-free route over the Queensboro Bridge and, upon arriving at the airport, demanded a flat $70 fare. No flat price had been disclosed or agreed to before the trip.
Because this particular taxi was personally selected and recommended by the hotel doorman, the interaction gave my parents the strong impression that the doorman and driver were working together. Whether or not hotel management was aware of the arrangement, guests should be able to trust that transportation arranged by hotel staff will be legitimate, metered, and transparent.
The experience seriously undermined their trust in the hotel and left a sour ending to an otherwise enjoyable visit to New York. My parents visit the city regularly, but they would not feel comfortable staying at the Seville again.
The Hotel Seville NoMad makes a fantastic first impression. The lobby and public spaces are beautiful, full of character, and feel thoughtfully designed. Walking into the hotel, I genuinely believed I had found the kind of property I enjoy staying in.
Unfortunately, that feeling didn't carry through to the guest room.
Our room was large by New York City standards, and I appreciated the extra space. However, despite its size, it felt surprisingly utilitarian and lacked the warmth and intentionality suggested by the rest of the hotel. Rather than feeling like a comfortable place to spend time, it felt as though the room had been designed around operational efficiency rather than the guest experience.
The layout was particularly disappointing. One wall of the room was occupied almost entirely by a minibar cabinet directly beneath the television. The cabinet itself was the only substantial piece of furniture along that wall and was filled primarily with expensive liquor, snacks, and other items for purchase. The refrigerator was similarly stocked almost completely with beverages for sale, leaving little to no practical space for guests who wanted to store their own drinks, leftovers, or personal items.
Meanwhile, the room lacked many of the things that would have made it more comfortable: there was no desk, no substantial table, and no truly functional area to sit and relax. The closet was a narrow freestanding piece of furniture rather than an integrated storage solution, which added to the impression that the room had not been thoughtfully designed around how guests actually use the space. Most frustrating was that the room was large enough that functional furniture could have fit. It was just a conscious decision to not include it.
The location is excellent, the hotel has a distinctive personality, and the lobby is very nice. I simply wish the same level of care had been devoted to the guest rooms.
If your priority is a stylish hotel with beautiful common areas in a great neighborhood, Hotel Seville NoMad is worth considering. But if you're someone who values a guest room that feels warm, comfortable, and intentionally designed as a place to spend time, not just a place to sleep, you may come away disappointed.
Terrible service, lied about rooms, barely anything respect for the customers and they took extra money out of our deposit for “cleaning” when we didn’t get room service or housekeeping during our 3 DAY STAY! You cannot make this up. The lying is truely the worst of it and I would NEVER recommend a stay that is so expensive and poor.
Great hotel, great location, very comfy rooms, nice bathroom, quality minibar options, friendly staff, free morning coffee
Can be too pricey at certain surge pricing moments
Personeel was heel vriendelijk.
Good facilities. Clean. Great staff. Staff good under pressure. Coffee in lobby is of the best hotel coffee I’ve had. Fitness center above average. I repeat for a reason.
Hotel Seville NoMad was great! We very much enjoyed the hotel - very clean, great room, everyone was friendly.
Coffee in the morning was very good as well!
