Important information:

The hotel is currently undergoing guest rooms renovations of all rooms, being done in phases.
The works started on March 18th, 2025 between 10am to 4pm everyday and some rooms have since been closed to facilitate the renovation.
Our contractor is expected to complete the renovations within a period of one year. All other facilities within the hotel are operational and guests can continue to enjoy our various services and their stay with us.
Please assist to have this notice on the fine print for your guests to be aware.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I booked under booking .com on 12/20/2025 to 12/21/2025 and I paid by my credit card than I was whole day in my business when I came at night they said we don’t have your booking I showed my confirmation but unfortunately it happened I paid twice at the morning when I checked I submitted my complain they said it was mistake but you ask your endorsement from booking . Com

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, staff are very friendly and helpful, lovely pool in private spot with pool service and an excellent breakfast buffet.
This is our go to hotel in Dar. 30 minutes in good traffic from the airport.

The hotel is truly exceptional. The environment is beautiful, extremely clean, and well maintained. The food is delicious and of outstanding quality. I absolutely love Serena Dar es Salaam Hotel. Every staff member you meet is warm, cheerful, and provides excellent service. You are treated so well that you can’t regret but want to return again and again. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Dar es Salaam should stay at Serena Hotel or experience its services
