The hotel is currently undergoing guest rooms renovations of all rooms, being done in phases.
The works started on March 18th, 2025 between 10am to 4pm everyday and some rooms have since been closed to facilitate the renovation.
Our contractor is expected to complete the renovations within a period of one year. All other facilities within the hotel are operational and guests can continue to enjoy our various services and their stay with us.

A joy to have returned to one of my favourite hotels in Dar
Pros:

Everything! I had stayed at Serena years ago and I was most pleased to see it has only gotten better - spacious rooms, great food, warm welcoming staff, quiet location and all!
