EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

This time at Hometown was a bust! First, us having to leave our room because of some fella with a gun Friday nite, not serving breakfast anymore because it’s “down season” as I was told Saturday morning - room was not cleaned very well and the pillows were old and lumpy- refrigerator was the best part still just like last time tho

Very welcoming when arriving ay midnight for a last minute stay. The desk clerk was very informative. Fast food in next parking lot that can be walked to. There were plenty of other options of concenient stores and reataurants within a very short drive. There is construction taking place on the exit.

Staff (Wendy) that was at front desk was awesome !!!!

Room, furniture and sheets were stained and looked gross. The noise from the toilet periodically running and the ice machine banging around kept us up all night.

Enjoyable stress-free

I regretted not spending a bit more for a better place. Cleanliness was the main issue. There was pet and human hair all over the bed linens. I saw multiple roaches in the bathroom area. You couldn’t have paid me to sit on the couch. It looked like a dog had lived on it for months. The only positive was the quick check in and polite staff.

Family atmosphere.

Very nice room clean and comfortable, nice decor. My only complaint would be NO breakfast only coffee, I would’ve been happy with only donuts like the old days of continental breakfast (donuts and coffee)😁

Staff very nice

I had a nonsmoking but when I came in it smelled like smoke. I seen 2 roaches and a spider. The covers had some type of stain on them . The shower curtain smelled sour like it’s been there 100 days and 100 nights which stunk up the whole bathroom. The Tv is extremelyyy small. I personally wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not worth the price at all. The best thing about my stay was the staff. They were all very nice & helpful.

Everyone that works the front desk is friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they fixed it ASAP. Close to Wendy’s. I-10 and several things.

Selected a non-smoking room, but the room smelled a little bit like someone had recently smoked in it. Breakfast was ok - pretty minimal items.

Bathtub bleaked, all night long food in the. Refrigerator my door stuck. I had to have your front desk. Clerk, open the door for me. 5 different times then I told your front desk about it. And the comment was, well that housekeeper has been with us, 4 years. We'll have to talk to him.I'm not very happy.I want to refund

When we checked in we received the wrong reservation. They quickly fixed it. You only have 15 minutes to report if something is wrong with your room. That should’ve been the first red flag. Our bed covers and pillows were moist and there were dead mosquitoes all over the beds. Would not stay again.

Friendly staff, the room was clean, the TV line up is fantastic, breakfast is ok, orange juice no good, coffee ok, waffle maker excellent 👌 Wendy was superb, also you can walk to Wendy's

I had to come to Florida for a funeral and it was last minute, so while I didnt really need anything super fancy, I obviously wanted something safe and clean. First with the good: It was generally pretty quiet and I never felt unsafe at all. The room was decently clean (except for laminate floor..when I first first got there I had white socks on and within a few minutes of walking around they were totally black)
and everything worked properly. Staff was fantastic! The bad: there was a giant crack in side of the door and I could literally stick a pen through it, which meant several bugs were able to fly in at night when my lights were on. Online claims they have house keeping each day which they do not. Probably the most lacking continental breakfast I have ever experienced. Waffles, toast, cereal and oatmeal. Fruit consists of apples and small mandarins. No flavored creamer for coffee, etc. And the bed was rock hard ...I could feel every spring. If you are looking for somewhere safe and quiet, this is a good place for you. If you are looking for fancy...this probably isnt the place for you 😀
