The hotel was amazing. The room and the bathroom were beautiful. The size of the bed was huge and the curtains are really tight so it's very dark and quiet in the room! Just lovely! I slept perfectly well in Koreana! The location is amazing. There are two metro lines and stations nearby (Gwanghwamun/purple line and City Hall/green line and blue line). The green line is the circle around the city, which is very useful for tourists. Gyeongbokgung Palace is just 1,5 km away and it is a must visit spot! There are many places you can visit just around the corner, too. Also, I took a day trip to DMZ and one of the general pick-up points was just 500 m from the hotel. This should prove the location is very central!

CU-convenient store is literally in the building.

The clothes iron in the laundry room did not work properly. However it's a BRILLIANT idea to have it there for tourists to use. I hope it's fixed by now.

I would love to stay again! The hotel did have a bit of a luxury feeling.

Cons:

A hotel of this standard should have breakfast included. It was not. However, the convenient store CU is in the building and it was easy to grab a snack there. The staff in the shop was quite unfriendly and I always felt the most unwelcome there. Probably the hotel has nothing to do with the shop, but it was still weird to have this kind of service there in a shop which is in the hotel.

Also it's a little bit inconvenient that you cannot cross the street by the hotel. The hotel sits just in the middle of the block so you need to walk a 100 m either way in order to get to the zebra crossing and cross the street.

I didn't understand what the taxis in front of the hotel were doing. I asked the reception if I can grab a taxi there but they told me they can call me a taxi instead and I shouldn't use the taxis there. So why are there plenty of cars waiting in front of the hotel then, I didn't understand. I called an Uber, because I knew the system.

Location was great, male staff were not nice.
Pros:

I liked that it was so close to myeongdong city, food and shopping. Easy to get transport

Cons:

Upon arrival the staff were rude and not welcoming, it was all the men staff at the welcoming desk. They very quickly dismissed us like they were trying to get rid of us. Whereas the women at the reception desk were so sweet and friendly, approachable. The men were not approachable and looked at us with disgust. I felt like I was being racially profiled by them.

Herşey çok güzeldi.
Pros:

Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at the Koreana Hotel during our family trip to Seoul. The location was excellent and the hotel was comfortable and convenient for exploring the city.

We would especially like to thank the hotel for accommodating our specific requests. We asked for higher-floor rooms and for rooms with a Japanese-style bathroom, and they were kind enough to arrange this for us. It made a real difference to our stay.

The staff were helpful and professional throughout our visit, and we would happily stay here again when returning to Seoul.
