Close enough to everything

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Roberto was always there, willing to assist and was true joy. The front desk staff were all amazing at accommodating my friends and I needs. All in all, it was a superb experience. They have officially made me a loyal customer at this particular location. Anytime I'm in DC, this hotel is the place that I will be staying.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. I had such a wonderful experience. Everyone deserves a raise
Стандартный отель Хилтон, без сюрпризов. Номер был на высоком этаже. Все понравилось. В номере есть все для приготовления кофе и чая. Отель находится рядом со станцией автобусов и поездов. Очень удобно для перемещения.
Все было хорошо
Very pleasant stay. The room is very comfortable, recently updated and the layout was well designed. For instance, clean towels are a hands reach from the generous shower. The service was friendly and accommodating. Minor problems were promptly resolved. I ate 3 meals in the bar area and was impressed with the food quality AND portions.
How close it was to everything we wanted to see!
No microwave in the room
Really awesome place to stay, well worth paying the price for a Capitol view room! Really enjoyed this place, the parking was only valet but that’s basically anywhere in a downtown part of a city. It was great to grab an electric Lime scooter and buzz around town right near the hotel.
First of all, the positives: This hotel is clean, large, and close to Union Station. The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are large.
But I was not really satisfied with my room. I reserved a two-bed room. The room was huge, but it had two double beds, not a two queen-sized beds. That wasn't really going to work for my family, with two adults and two teenagers. I asked for a rollaway bed, and I was told by the front desk that they don't permit rollaway beds in double rooms.
And then there is the low flow issue.
I am all for conservation. I recycle meticulously. I am very aware of how much I buy and use. But at the Hilton Washington Capitol Hill, it was just frustrating. The sink was low flow. The shower was low flow. The toilet was low flow (which was not a good thing). So it took longer than usual to wash my hands, longer than usual to shower, and several flushes to empty the toilet bowl. The room also dark. There simply weren't enough lights. I couldn't see to undo a knot or sew a button and had to do those tasks in the bathroom, which seems unnecessary.
Great city view
No where to personally park, had to pay daily valet parking
This hotel is beautiful in the lobby/common areas.
The room was horrible literally had panties and bra’s from their previous guest along with dirty sheets/pillow cases and possibly blood on the curtains (eye level when laying in the bed 🤮) when I notified the receptionist, all they said was, “we’ll have someone reach out to you” …. And of course nothing came of it. So, I thought I’d share here. (I informed them the next morning because I was so exhausted from traveling all day. I checked into the hotel after 1am)
