Management lied to me and told me that the king room that I already paid for was not available. They gave me a double room. I found the owners in the parking lot and made them switch my room.

Bed sheets were stained, towels were stained, my room was booked for someone else while we were in it, so at 9pm someone opened my door, staff did not apologize for the mistake. My bank account was charged twice, again no apology. Mold/mildew on ceiling in bathroom

I got out of my car to go to my room. They were cleaning room 2 doors away. Got a whiff of something that caused me a violent over 2 hours coughing spell that made my head, chest & throat sore. I went to ask someone if I should be concerned. I thought maybe a meth lab. I was told the police had tear-gassed the room 5 days earlier and they were still trying to clean it. Not their fault but made my stay miserable. I did look into getting another room somewhere else but even so this would not have stopped the coughing spell that was triggered.

Booking.com said the facility had smoking rooms, but informed none available. They did accommodate us (put us on the second floor) and my friend is in a wheelchair. Also, I killed two cock roaches in the room.

It took forever for someone to show up to check me in. No one there when I checked out to provide an invoice for my company.
Bugs in my room

Very noisy with people outside at all hours of the night. The room was very outdated and not sure if it was cleaned or if that’s how it always is.

First room was like a smoking room. We were able to move to a much fresher smelling room.

The first red flag should have been the bug trap sticky paper behind the fridge that was covered with bugs all the way around the edges, but it only got worse. Dont expect anyone to be at the front desk or friendly when they do show up. I wont go back. I waited for someone for over 30 min because the key cards apparently have to be reset everyday. I had a week long stay and everyday it was about impossible to catch any one in the office so if i went outside i had to leave the door cracked. The rooms are comfortable but I booked a smoking room. When I got there, I was told they didnt have any and that I just needed to smoke outside. That was fine for the first 4 days. I didnt flip butts on the ground, i kept a bottle as an ashtray and changed it every other day. The owner yelled at me on the 4th night of being there because i asked for a washrag. We only had 1 for 2 people. He got mad that i asked for one and told me i needed to start smoking by the dumpster. Everyone else stood outside their doors. And the whole week i never seen anyone smoke by the dumpster and there were no signs anywhere about a smoking section. He told me i couldnt smoke outside my door because he has ashtma. I was stunned by the way i was talked to as a guest because they acted like i was just an inconvenience. They make you not feel welcomed at all. Their ammenties advertised included a laundry room, work out area, and vending machines... none of which they had. And dont expect much more than a banana and piece of toast for breakfast. Im not sure why they charged me twice and put a hold on my card but when i asked the owners wife she told me i had to wait for a manager who seems like he wants you out of his face quickly but also fixed the payment issue but complained about it happening too often so watch your bank account if they take your card at any point. Tried to go relax for a week but after that frustration, maybe i need to stay home to relax.

Toilet was slow to flush. I made the staff aware.
