This was a good price/Value for a quick overnight stay in the down town portland area. Had an early appointment in the area the next morning and checking in late the night before and out for the appointment was easy and quick, while the room and staff were very efficient and nice.
My stay here was great, the staff, especially Erynn, were always kind, friendly, and full of great tips for dinner and things to do. Very chill vibe, within walking distance to just about anything you’d want. It’s perfect for a work trip or vacation. Highly recommend.
Big modern rooms with good location near the Pearl District
Small Bathroom and no restaurant or bar at the hotel
My experience was wonderful. There is a restaurant next to the hotel that serves great food.
The hotel met all of my expectations.
Walking distance from Union Station. Tons of dining options nearby.
Was on the top floor so had to use the elevator. Would prefer not to
装修有自己的特色,风格复古。
房间咖啡机设备老旧,房间空间狭小,紧邻路面,隔音效果不好。停车费没有优惠。
We loved the ambiance, the free arcade and the friendliness of the staff. Walking distance to some of our favorite places to eat and get coffee and the price was the best part!
You ask about breakfast. What breakfast would that be?
I could never get the espresso machine to work properly. I realize espresso is a smaller amount than coffee but all I could get from the machine was about 1/8 inch in the cup.
This is a really unique gem of a place in downtown Portland, just a couple blocks off Pioneer Courthouse Square. They took a historic building shell and filled it with modern art in the lobby, and overall a photography theme, featuring the works of David Hume Kennerly. The hallways are lined with famous photographs from his career, too. Definitely a place you go if you love photography--they even have a lounge room off the lobby filled with antique cameras.
As for the rooms, they are a bit small, but also filled with all the luxury comforts like a huge, fluffy king bed and a completley remodeled and gleaming bathroom. Still, though, it had a really retro feel, with a vintage radio, odd lamps, and such. I loved that balance of old and new.
The hotel also has a nice perk: their daily beer hour, where they serve free local beer, flavoured seltzer, or root beer. Staff was really friendly and generous with the pours!
I would caveat on the neighbourhood. If you keep between the hotel and Pioneer Courthouse Square, you're fine. If you go the opposite direction, toward Burnside St., things got rather seedy in a hurry. There are a number of good restaurants, coffee shops, and lunch spots however, within an easy walk in the good part of Broadway.
Can’t say enough about this place. It’s the only place I ever stay in Portland. Satveer and SiSi at front desk treat you like family. Everything is always spot on. Dying for you to re acquire a restaurant. Miss the old days of the Imperial.
Thanks again Lucia team
Satveer at the front desk was very accommodating. Couldn’t ask for a more gracious welcome at my favorite hotel in Portland.
The staff was friendly and helpful with room requests and area recommendations. The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance to all things in downtown Portland. We only used Uber when leaving downtown. We would stay here again when visiting downtown Portland.
