This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic walkable area. The many framed photos on the walls are fun to walk around and view. Our room was really nice. On the 7th floor with a view of the city. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. There was a little desk and chair and a Nespresso machine. The TV got all the regular channels you would expect. Overall, this was an excellent experience.
Two minor drawbacks: no 'continental breakfast' that was advertised. The beer selection at the Craft Beer Hour consisted of one beer. These two factors did not detract from our stay.
Great stay at Hotel Lucia. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & enough space for what we needed. Loved walking in with great music playing on the radio. Also loved the walkability to restaurants & public transit. Price was reasonable for downtown Portland. We’d stay here again.
Friendly and helpful staff
Morning coffee could have been stronger
Erynn was awesome so accommodating!!
I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price, great amenities and excellent service of Hotel Lucia. The staff was very friendly, helpful, welcoming and personable. Without question, I’d stay here again. The location is well positioned within in walking distance to many locations and the light rail. The rooms are small, but utilize space incredibly efficiently so the room feels spacious. The beds are comfortable and linens quality. Plenty of outlets, technology connections and places to set things. Awesome espresso machine in the room with Portland Coffee. The closet was a walk-in in my room. In the common areas there is a beautiful sitting area with chill vibes and stylish decor. I believe there is a vintage arcade downstairs, but I didn’t have time to check that out. Complimentary coffee and tea each morning. It’s an old building so the walls are thin, you can hear others sometimes and the plumbing is a little loud, but given the other positives, this wasn’t so bad as to be a deal breaker. Portland & Hotel Lucia, I hope to be back!
Location was great, customer service was excellent and I loved all the art in the hotel. The beer hour was a plus before heading to the game!
CLean entrance
Room was old and looked like a million layers of paint. It was really small, small bathroom. The iron was covered in something sticky but was super cheap to begin with. Outlet was janky
As well. I KNOW I left my nice curling iron in the room but “no staff could find it”. They sent me an overly long email explaining simply “they didn’t find it” but so.. where did it go?
We started my trips to the hotel with recommendation from a friend of mine, and every time I go staff a professional, courteous, discreet, and always willing to help enjoy the amenities in the atmosphere of the hotel as a style is not seen in some of the more well-known, which is a plus because it makes this a special place.
Went on a last-minute adventure and booked Hotel Lucia off of a third-party site and it was fabulous! The inside is beautiful and elevated. Everything was clean but to set proper expectations just know that the building is older, so the bathrooms are older and rooms are smaller but so cute! Staff were helpful and it was a great location to be able to park and walk around downtown.
Great location, freshly updated hotel in historic building downtown Portland. It is near shopping, restaurants and freeway access.
Sweet swanky comfy boutique hotel in a surprising quiet area of downtown. Good in-room espresso & lobby coffee game. Great lobby art. Great happy staff make this a gem.
Great value for a very nice room. Everything was very clean, the amenities were top notch, and the location is great - right downtown, close to the max, and a short walk from union station. The hotel atmosphere is excellent, definitely recommend checking the happy hour.
Great vibes, clean room, helpful staff , fun art installations
What a great hotel, in a great location. I was able to walk or take mass transit everywhere. From the moment I arrived Sisi made me feel comfortable to ask any and all questions and made me feel like they had my back if anything was to happen. Their suggestions for food were the absolute best and I’m annoyed I only had 48 hours in town. Would have loved to spend more time here.
Everything about this hotel is amazing!! From the location, to the room, the staff and amenities! I'll never stay anywhere else when I come to Portland!!!! Erynn at the front desk is THE BEST!!!!
We loved the location of the hotel, within a few blocks of the Roseland Theater and near great shopping such as Nordstrom and Powell's Books as well! We also loved the friendliness of each staff member, and also the cleanliness of the hotel. The complimentary happy hour was a fun suprise. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed here at the end of our two weeks in the Pacific Northwest. What a treat of a place to spend our last night in Portland. Everyone from our first interaction was helpful & parking was easy (which is not often the case down town). As someone who needed a physically accessible ADA room, I was pleasantly surprised by how intentional the design was. The art, arcade and a chance to go to the Festival of Lights were also fantastic.
Great central/safe location for solo female travelers. Beautiful aesthetics and very cozy rooms. Check in and check out are super easy and front desk staff are very kind.
