Good location and small

beautiful decor, clean, good location.
Terrible water pressure and no hot water. Waited ten minutes for water to warm up but it was just lukewarm. We were visiting during a cold snap so this was uncomfortably cold for a shower. My poor customer service experience: I booked a room with 2 queen beds but when I arrived they said none left. This was through Booking . com which I understand may not be the hotels fault, but Booking . com says the hotel receives the bookings and approves them so they put me into a room with only one bed and did not inform me or reimburse me the difference. The gentleman staff was a positive lively person but when I had this issue he was dismissive and unhelpful.
Staff checked on me daily to see if everything was ok or if I needed anything! Very personal experience overall! Kudos Malcolm!

Birthday trip for 5 nights. First room was facing Camp St. and was super loud. Room felt like an old dorm room. Construction was happening and I was startled by the construction worker right outside the window, required to have blinds closed most of the time. Construction was loud so we asked to move rooms. 2nd room - The heater didn't work, and no hot water. I let the water run for 20 min and then the water got warm/hot. I used my survival skills and utilized the blow dryer from 1980's to keep warm...lol. They sent someone to repair the heater but it wasn't repaired. So, it was freezing since we were there during the arctic storm that passed through. We had to ask for additional blankets and slept with layers. Since it's an older building the layout was odd. You can't sit on the toilet if you have long legs - as your legs will hit the door or the side wall. Small vanity space. At least the wall paper in the bathroom was cute.
Staff was attentive. Unfortunately, the things lacking with the hotel were not their fault. Hotel restaurant was good but under staffed. I felt bad for the waitress. They were also out of a lot of things, including beer, which was on the happy hour menu. Gym in hotel was under construction - they offered passes to the local gym. Location was 2 blocks from Canal which was good.
The staff are wonderful! The rooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable. The value is perfect.
The elevators are creepy, and they make noises you can hear in the rooms. I wish we had a mini fridge.
comfortable clean room
no hot water
I've stay at Hilton all the time and I'm a Gold member. This is the first Hilton that just did not feel inviting. The front desk staff was good. It was the hotel it self I had a three night stay.
because I had to change my reservation in order for me to get a one night free reward stay I ended up having two reservations. The first reservation gave me an upgrade room, but the two other nights had to be a regular room (no upgrades available for the second two nights ) so I chose to stay in the regular room so that I would not have to move rooms.
The room was literally very uninviting and cold the heat was not working, and the room itself was just so uninviting. I felt like I was in a dorm room. I’ve attached a picture..
The front desk staff changed my room with no problem at least the heat work, but it was still very uninviting room. The hot water barely got warm enough for me to want to take a shower..
In short, I have no plans to ever stay at this hotel ever again.
My room had no windows; multiple guests had problems with heating and hot water. Mine had no water briefly on arrival and no hot water for a shower on last morning @ checkout. Street was dark and didn’t feel great after dark (construction & skips blocking sidewalk on one side of street - felt the need to be careful which route I used to walk home after dark.
The room was always clean and housekeeping was spot on. Our front desk associates were always nice and the barista was amazing.
This is for the Hotel Theo in NO. Lovely grand old lady of a hotel. Conveniently located near Canal Street, front desk staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The room, was nice, and the modern furniture worked well with the decor. I anticipated street noise, but it was manageable. Maintenance, always an issue with older properties was excellent. If you have particularly long legs you may find the bathroom a bit challenging.
Staff and services were very responsive and helpful. Especially those at the front desk and housekeeping who were very accommodating when I became ill partway through stay. Great historic hotel and amenities. Would definitely return again.
