It was my first time staying at the Frederick Hotel. My fiancé chose it for our special engagement date, and I absolutely loved it—starting with the location. Angelli, the front desk manager, was incredibly kind and made our stay truly special. Anthony, the bellman, was also very attentive at all times and took great care of everything.
I would definitely come back. This is a hotel that welcomed us warmly on such a meaningful occasion and made us feel special by taking care of every detail—from our overall stay to the cleanliness of our room. We were delighted!
Victor, Anthony, Joanna, Amber, and T were remarkable hosts. It felt amazing to be staying in foreign city and made to feel at home. Their hospitality will have me singing praise for the Frederick for years to come.
Victor, Anthony, and T made this business trip all worth while without them I don’t think I would have had such a great time. You will be lucky to have them assist you with your needs, gorgeous guys of also
Victor, Anthony and T made this experience so fun and enjoyable ! They made my experience staying here so welcoming.
I had a wonderful stay at the The Frederick Hotel! The staff was really nice and welcoming. Mery was especially so sweet when I checked in and made everything super easy. Loved the location since there were so many things nearby and it was super easy to get around. Highly recommend staying here!!!
Honestly, not sure how this place is not maxed out on stars. Such a pleasant experience with great staff, all you need rooms and onsite food/beverage.
Perfect for a quick weekend getaway with a great location, I recommend this for anyone who is traveling to Manhattan.
Albert the front desk concierge was above and beyond.
This was our first visit to New York, after a long journey met by unfriendly desk staff shown to a TINY box room no where even to put our cases let alone our clothes !!!
We asked to be moved where we were told we had to pay an upgrade to move !
No way would I have stayed 5 nights in a cramped room so we reluctantly paid the upgrade…
At breakfast you were lucky to get a good morning out of the staff. Location was good and breakfast okay just got a touch boring after a few days. Make sure you check when booking what room you are getting!
Anthony is the best! We felt so welcomed and celebrated here. The best hospitality in the city. Perfect hotel and great vibes!
Anthony was incredible !!! Fantastic service and hospitality. Will be definitely staying here again, can’t wait to come back.
A really great little hotel perfectly situated in Tribeca. I came over a three day period for a work event during very cold weather, and was easily able to keep myself fed and warm during off hours at Serafina, Sweetgreen and the nearby Whole Foods without having to brave the elements too much.
I had a cute junior suite with plenty of space and an ideal set up for one person. The shower in particular was wonderful, and there’s filtered water and cliff bars in the gym.
The front desk team and cute guys at the door were also super cool.
My only note is that they should consider working with a different partner that supplies their towels and sheets. Both were a bit hard and scratchy, which didn’t seem to fit the level of the room or hotel.
I usually stay with friends in Manhattan, but we got a really great deal on the room - January travel perk! Very conveniently located and genuinely could not be closer to the subway. It's a historic hotel in Manhattan, so the rooms are of course small, but they're efficient with the space, well designed, and give a little luxury experience in a small amount of square footage. Staff was all friendly and helpful as well. I'd definitely recommend and will honestly likely stay here again if/when I ever need a hotel in NYC again!
One of my most memorable stays in NYC! Will definitely come back. Special shoutout to Joana!
I recently moved out west from after being a lifelong NYC resident. As soon as I arrived at The Frederick I felt that I had returned home.
The staff is wonderful and the rooms are everything I needed, it’s a wonderful boutique hotel experience with a European vibe.
Traveling alone I felt comfortable and safe.
I cannot wait to return.
Great location and a very nice bar - and not just for a hotel! I’d recommend this both for folks wanting to visit the 9/11 memorial and downtown in general as well as anyone looking for a staycation!
Stayed here overnight and the staff were very friendly, room very clean! I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area!
Had a lovely stay at the Frederick Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect-close to everything. The staff were very friendly, especially Joana, who was welcoming and helpful and made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Staff was super helpful and kind, the rooms are super clean and cute. Definitely recommend!! Great location right near the subway.
My mom decided to visit NYC by herself for two days as a birthday treat to herself, since it has always been her dream to see the Statue of Liberty, even at her age. She doesn’t have any cards and barely speaks English, so she asked me to write this review on her behalf.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Joana. What she did for our mom went far beyond customer service; it was pure kindness and genuine compassion. Joana patiently helped her during check-in, allowed her to pay in cash, personally purchased a Statue of Liberty ticket using her own card, and even arranged her car service to Newark Airport just to make sure she would be safe.
Joana is truly a beautiful person with a caring heart. She treated our mom like family, looked after her every step of the way, and continued to make sure she was safe even after check-out.
We can never thank Joana enough for her kindness, patience, and selflessness. This experience will stay with our family forever. Kudos to Joana! she is one of a kind.
I've been staying at the Frederick Hotel since before 9/11 when it was the Hotel Cosmo. It has a superb location in Tribeca, just three blocks from the World Trade Center, normally with a subway stop just outside its front door (It was limited during my stay due to construction.) . The rooms are NYC small but comfortable and stylish and stays often come with bonuses like a complimentary pizza and continental breakfast. There's also an in-house restaurant and bar and a Starbucks in the same building. The price is reasonable for NYC and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended.
The front office staff were so lovely, especially Syed who made our arrival, stay and departure so smooth. He gave us fantastic advice, help when needed and was always so welcoming! The breakfast buffet was beautiful. A good mix of fresh fruit, breads, baked goods and hot food. They had so many teas and coffee. They also had decaf coffee and gluten free options if needed. The rooms were very clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries. High pressure shower which was phenomenal and a generous size too. The beds were comfy but a little on the small size if you are a larger build. Mini fridge in room, hairdryer, iron with ironing board, bathrobes and slippers. We didn't use the bar or restaurant for dinner, but is was busy every night and the atmosphere sounded fantastic so I would say it was a great place to socialise. The location was excellent. Right beside the entrance to Chamber Street subway station. Was so handy with two children in tow. You had everything within reach for essentials if you needed any. Lovely boutiques also around & it felt very safe. The noise level in the hotel was fine. No complaints there, only complaint was the noise of the drivers beeping their horns at night, but you're in New York so nothing less than what we expected! 😊 I can't fault this hotel or the staff. Everyone was a genuine person working there. A great vibe to the place, well worth the price and we will be sure to visit again. Would be hard to find another gem like this one! Thank you all for the most enjoyable stay with our family, our first time in NYC but won't be our last for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
