Breakfast was great and the staff very accommodating. We were there because we had a layover and just went to the website to choose a hotel. We were very happy with the hotel. It is also in a great neighborhood with lots of food options. Also the shuttle from the airport was great!
We got in late and the restuarant had closed so maybe I’d there were offerings you could heat up in your room. Would need a small microwave in the rooms.
The location was good
No microwave to heat food, 150 hold fee, the rooms is not what you expect because I paid for a balcony room and didn’t get it, they try telling me that I didn’t pay for the but no other room that was available for booking had balconies
Clean, quiet, nice neighborhood
The beds here are harder than the floor and I’m not exaggerating. I slept on the floor because the beds are like sleeping on a solid rock. I barely slept because whoever designed these rooms forgot the most important part of a hotel room is the bed, because WHY? will never return and will actively tell people to avoid this place since they put more money into being fashionable than they do function.
Spacious room.
Breakfast was good
Staff was pleasant.
We could not use parking garage as key card didn't work.
We were not supplied with sheets and blankets for king sofa 6 had 4 adult listed on reservation.
Only had 3 towels when we had 4 adults.
Only had one bottle of water for room.
New and comfortable rooms , great amenities, good breakfast/coffee options . Friendly staff
Covers for the couch bed were not available
Cleanliness and comfort
The breakfast buffet was a bit chaotic
Do not use shuttle buses to this hotel the driver do not speak English and will leave you stranded at the wrong hotel .amd the staff will not be helpful.
Clean and comfortable
Pillows
Location. Bed comfy. Nice gym.
Initial front desk agent rattled off a memorized speech about incidental charges and food coupons for the cafe that we “needed to use because we had already paid for them”. It felt like some sort of paid incentive trap/scam because many items were not included. Cafe hours were not posted in room or entryway. Room and hallways were not clean - dirty tissue on floors, finger print smudges on doors and cabinets, water stains on coffee table. No top sheet on bed, no caffeinated coffee in room, sign saying free bottled water but then a sticker saying $8 on lid of water bottle. Hotel toiletries smelled like diesel fumes. Saggy lounge/sofa with stains in room. Even this review scale is a fraud , it will probably post as a 4 out of 5 when it should be a 4 out of 10.

Parking was expensive
We have been visiting this hotel for the last 4 years during the first weekend in December. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. It is a few blocks from King street, which is quite convenient because the first weekend is December is busy with the Scottish Rite Parade so downtown can be busy and hard to navigate before the parade is over. Parking is convenient and you are close to all the Alexandria has to offer.
I like where the hotel is located based on where we had to travel to. The food at the restaurant was good. The room was nice and spacious large bathroom, comfortable bed ,and love the sizes of the two TVs.
Breakfast buffet was just OK. Wish there were other choices such as being able to make grits or waffles. Also, there was no microwave in the room. We were there to visit family however we could not bring any food back with us because there was no way to warm it up.
We booked the Sheraton as they offer free WIFI, and my husband is also a Marriot member so this service is guaranteed. The WIFI did not work in our room. The WIFI dropped every few minutes. Instead of moving us to a new room or coming to see the issue, I was asked to trouble shoot the problem by calling their external IT department in the Philippines. This happened 3 times with no success. The duty manager was rude and spoke over us every time we tried to explain it was not our job to problem solve the WIFI issue. Front desk just repeated the telephone number again for us to waste our time and to problem solve. No, WIFI for the whole trip meant no use of our laptops to make calls to family and friends. No customer service, a run-down hotel, only one elevator working, inconsistent housekeeping so room was not cleaned daily and conditioner bottle was left empty for 2 days. After the trip, I contacted Marriot Bonvoy customer services who are in India and they just gave us the run around – complete waste of time. Just hoping you go away. That’s the service from the Sheraton.
