My room was right next to a construction area. The smell was horrible!!!
Location was great. Atmosphere was fine. Room was nice and clean. But I have to address the Noise Level even though it has been 7 or so weeks since we stayed there. We went there over Thanksgiving 2025 to spend time with family, and that was very nice; we ate at the Whaling Company which likely needs a little upgrading after 40 years (but the service was good). We had a room with a balcony. About 830 PM, some people decided to play music, at the pool, in late November, loud. The bass was thumping. After about 10 minutes I called the front desk to ask them to turn it down. After 15 minutes nothing happened so I went to the front desk and the worker said she asked them to turn it down and there was nothing else she could do if they wouldn't. I am all for people having fun, but it wasn't that hot of a night in November, our sliding glass door was closed, and we could not hear our TV. On the plus side, the fall colors were nice, walking around the property and the businesses behind was nice, and they gave nice water and Andes mints. Would I stay here again? I don't know.
The friendliest person ever greeted me, he was super helpful and specific on where to find anything I may need I also liked how clean my room was there was not a speck of dirt anywhere and it smelled nice.
The TV kept turning off when I was on my Netflix and I’m not sure why, but once I unplugged it and re-plugged it it worked fine. Also, the balcony door would not open, but it was too cold outside to care if the fact was that it didn’t kind of bothered me
had to change/shorten my reservation a couple days before arriving. Used the Bonvoy app, but the hotel wasn't notified. When we arrived the next day, they had charged me almost $400 for the day I'd cancelled and "policy" is all I get from both hotel and Marriott corporate. The manager was uncaring and dismissive, and after first contact, refused to discuss any more. Corporate was worthless as well. If your app doesn't work properly, it's not my fault. And if this is the way you treat your customers, perhaps you're losing one.
Service was quite fast and friendly. Breakfast options looked good.
Breakfast was pricey, and not included in the room rate. They had a few options for prepared breakfasts and some pre-made. Coffee was extremely expensive (on par with going to a starbucks)
Very clean close to bush gardens nice hotel
Pool/courtyard are lovely. Small balcony on room overlooking pool area. Clean room, comfortable.
One of the best stays I’ve had when traveling
Excellent staff, great pool, excellent service
Great Area ! Clean rooms quiet Relaxing Hotels Clean smells Clean..will Return..
great hotel. I will come back again
Short drive to all the things in Williamsburg. However, due to the great locations it was a little loud.
Rooms was nice
No tv during the stay and was told the Internet was working and it wasn't
Very clean
The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were told recently renovated. The room for the most part was clean, but we noticed a stain on the couch, a little black mold in the shower around the soap dish and the faucet handle for the sink was loose. Other than those minor things which I left them know, so they can repair, the place was a very nice place to stay.
The pool was nice. Food at the facility. Nice and clean
