Suggestions for improvement: ramp at front door for suitcases / accessibility (only a few short steps up) | upgrade to newer card keys | install USB power sockets

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. It is a very comfortable, cute, clean, picturesque hotel. The breakfast is amazing! I am more than 100% happy with my stay here. The old key is way cool too.

Hotel ist bereits sehr in die Jahre gekommen und dementsprechend ist die Ausstattung. Das Bad war ein Witz max. 1,5qm. Keine Klima und niemals ein Zimmer zur Straße

Quaint boutique hotel in a convenient part of the city (near several public transportation lines). Breakfast is lovely -- better than anything else nearby. Staff of this hotel are all helpful and gracious.

This quirky hotel was a really good experience. It was easy to find with a theatre style entrance with lights arched over the front entrance. Inside was like going back in time to the 1920's. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful.
Our room on the 2nd floor was reached by an old style lift, then out to big heavy doors through to the rooms. Old style keys with brass fobs were used for rooms. Inside the room we were greeted with the same 1920s feel. Beautiful old wooden furniture (desk, wardrobe, bed side table etc,) . Creaky wooden floors. A coffee machine, together with tea and herbal drinks was sited on another beautiful piece of furniture. The bathroom was small but equipped with all you would need and supplied with lovely scented Henri soaps and shower/shampoo gel. Hairdryer available in a bag ready for use. The bathroom was bright and shiny in the old style of black and white tiles, chrome fittings and great mirrors.
Breakfast was good. Relaxed feel with food served in an old style kitchen then taken back to various tables scattered around 3 rooms. Good variety of foods constantly being checked and refilled where needed.
Loved the bircher.
The hotel was a short walk from shops, restaurants and bus stops. We used one of the hop on buses to get our bearings but due to a big police presence with the Israeli prime minister visit, it was difficult for the bus to negotiate closed roads. We chose to get off and walk around the places of interest.
Our overall visit to Berlin was a good one

Superhyggeligt hotel, flotte værelser og fine ophold områder.

What a lovely hotel! Full of personality and charm and a pleasant change to the sterile box-room modern hotels in city centres. Handily placed for attractions, places to eat, and nightlife. Sure the beds could be more comfy, and the breakfast a little more inspiring, but those are minor complaints.

Underbart charmigt hotell. Utmärkt skött. Bara gamla och vackra möbler i en fin blandning. Skönt att slippa all tråkig mainstream-inredning.

Delightful hotel - stylish old charm, helpful staff, quiet and comfortable rooms with pretty decor, nice breakfasts, great location. Literally can't fault it and will definitely be back. The staff were super helpful and accommodating with last minute changes two of us had to make to our bookings. All in all a great find!

Gutes Hotel im Herzen von Charlottenburg. Nostalgische Zimmer, schön renoviert und sehr sauber. Leider ist das Service Angebot für Food & Beverage sehr dürftig und der Service wenig geschult oder einfach nicht da. Wer eine zentrale Unterkunft mit ruhigen Zimmern und einfachem Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

The hotel is in a good location, nice and clean. Breakfast is OK. Staff are friendly. The only drawback is that you have to ring a bell to get into the hotel. Sometimes the door is not opened promptly and you have to wait in the cold. Otherwise all is good.
