Nice hotel with history.

Location, Location, Location! It was a short distance to the river walk and the Alamo.

Cost of parking. It cost 1/2 of what the hotel cost.

I would recommend to family and friends.
Pros:

The property is great. Great location. Backs right up to The Alamo.

Cons:

We had no idea that they were doing construction on the Alamo and the workers, hammering, concrete work and construction woke us up at 7am right outside our window.
The parking and hotel entrance is a bit confusing.

Highly recommend this hotel - great staff and price!
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Crockett Hotel and we want to give a special Kudos to Jessie Butler who helped with billing! My wife reserved a room on their website and accidentally booked the wrong weekend (highly recommend you book this with in case of any issues as the hotel can do more to resolve it!). She caught it after that weekend but before the weekend we needed to be there and called the hotel. The staff were incredible, removed the "No show" for the wrong weekend and transferred everything to the correct one down to the exact room type and package originally booked. Upon check in, the charges were doubled due to the reservation mix up, so Jessie took care of all of it and was so kind about it! The valet service which we got with our package were always fast, kind, and helpful. Everyone we encountered was great. Our room was on the inside overlooking the atrium and was quiet. The beds are firm, so we added a gel mattress topper and slept well, so bring a topper if you need a softer bed. We walked to the Alamo which was safe and beautiful at night and walked to the River Center to enjoy the Riverwalk! The rooms have been updated, and everything was clean. If you book early and get a package, the price for the location is the best. Highly recommend!!

Spring fun Texas style
Pros:

Enjoyed staying at the lovely Crockett hotel this spring break. The entire staff was so friendly and always happy to help. Sending us off was valet Belinda who was very prompt and helpful with our luggage. Thank you Crockett hotel for a great experience!!
