U would stay here again.
Pros:

The coffee shop was good. Our valet (Miles) was outstanding! The front desk was very nice as well. Easy to get around and was close to what we wanted to do.

The beds and pillows were too hard.

Great service from the valet team - specifically Christian and Miles were both very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Pros:

A beautiful hotel in an old downtown building. Super convenient and walkable with great restaurants on the nearby river walk and the Alamo right across the street.

Cons:

We were surprised by the $50 parking fee - didn’t see it mentioned in the listing in booking.

Hotel molto bello in una posizione incredibilmente centrale. Staff gentile e disponibile che ci ha offerto un upgrade della camera ad una cifra molto ridotta. Camera confortevole anche se non si potevano aprire le finestre. L'addetto al Valet parking gentilissimo.

That it was near the River Walk.

Cons:

I loved everything about the Crockett Hotel. The staff was excellent. Bartenders were all excellent. The singers were outstanding and the rooms were very nice. I didn't like the aged carpet in our room but that is all I would change.

Although the hotel is quite old, it is exceptionally well maintained. It is very clean and offers an excellent location—directly across from the Alamo and only an 8-minute walk to the River Walk.

Cons:

The only downside was the air conditioning unit. It was extremely noisy—honestly, it sounded like an airplane turbine running all night. My husband, who normally has no trouble sleeping with background noise, actually asked to leave in the middle of the night because he couldn’t sleep due to the constant noise.

If you decide to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend bringing earplugs, especially if you are a light sleeper.
