Saray Otel

28.07.2021 tarihinde kardeşimi askere teslim etmek için geldiğimiz Amasya'da yöresel oteller dolu ve pahalı olduğu için saray oteli bulduk fiyat çok çok iyi aile olarak gidildiginde 4 kişilik yatak bulunan odaları var kahvaltı az gibi gözükebilir ama çok doyurucu odalar temiz nevresimd n perdeye kadar vernel kokuyordu personel ilgili ve güler yüzlü temiz havlu var tek kusuru baya eski bir otel ama verdiğiniz paraya göre gayet iyi biz çocuklarla gittik ve çok memnun kaldık

Most of all, Saray Otel has really excellent guest service. The staff do all they can to make sure guests are happy & have all they need, including the hotel being being flexible with breakfast times/items, room location, furnishings. If there's ever a problem, staff works very quickly to fix it.

I will note that their a/c system doesn't work, but the staff brought me a large portable a/c unit, since the temperatures at that time were 37C ! The portable unit worked like a giant fan, which was fine.

The rooms are very spacious, attractive and look like they've been recently upgraded (new wallpaper, floors, furnishings). I really loved my regal-looking room and I had a fantastic mountain view from my bed. Note that rooms in the back are quieter, because rooms in front are on one of Amasya's main roads. Traffic noise.

I personally think Saray Otel's location is excellent - away from the old town area, which is full of tourists - but only two blocks from the river and two major historic sites - BAyazid Pasha Cami mosque and Buyuk Aga Madressa. The other major historic sites & old town are just a 15-minute walk away.

All in all, I had a wonderful stay at Saray Otel and highly recommend it. The only two potential issues are traffic noise in front rooms and the a/c problem. But if you like quiet, just request a back room. If you need a/c, they can give you a portable unit.

A good, basic budget option for spending a few days relaxing and seeing the sights. The location is a little further away from the historic centre than might be ideal, but is still only a shortish walk. The room had all the facilities that you need and was clean. The breakfast was reasonable. The staff helpful, despite the language barrier.
