Good location. We had a last minute change of plans as our flight was very late and needed somewhere to stay. We flew into Chicago Midway at close to midnight. Due to a big music festival most hotels were booked solid.
Property was clean, in a good neighborhood about 7 miles from airport and reasonably priced.
Front desk staff on both night and morning shifts were really nice.
Room was large and adequate for our needs.

The beds are very uncomfortable. No cleaning services all throughout our 12 day stay.

I stayed for a week. Through day 3 to day 5, I’ve requested some new towels couple of times but I did not receive it. On Day 5 I called the guy in the reception asking for some towels to room 231, he told me to come down to take them and hanged up while I was talking to him. When I went down, I asked him why he hanged up while we were on the phone, he responded “what do you want me to do!” And went away while I was talking to him back to the room inside the reception area (again). I believe some courtesy should be shown to all customers.
I believe this will be my last booking in Motel 6.

The price was good and the staff member was polite and accommodating...
The room was dirty unkempt, and the bed looked like it had been worn out years ago.Not to mention the surrounding atmosphere was just bad.I would not feel comfortable leaving family members there.It seemed like a rent by the hour kind of cheap motel... Not to mention the room did not have a microwave or a refrigerator but that was the least of my worries... Plus the lights did not work in the room.The main light anyways.It was so bad that I left and went to a different hotel...

The air conditioner is very noisy.
And the floor was dirty
Location and staff. Staff helped with directions and when we needed extra towels.
How dirty and the smell of the hallway and rooms. Mould in the bathroom cigarette holes in the bed sheets, hairs in the pillow cases, and the floor was so dirty our socks turned brown after walking on it. The room smelt of cannabis.
The people at the front desk were the only good thing here. The place was seedy from the start. The halls smelled of animal urine, I hope and was very dirty.
Smell of urine in halls, smell of mold and mildew in the room. very little light and very dirty in the room. Most outlets didn't work or wouldn't hold a plug in them unles manually held in. While the bed seemed clean enough it was messy and very wrinkled as if it had sat in a wet hamper for awhile. the bed was old and worn out with springs that popped out.

Clean & tidy and the bed was comfortable
The hotel was dirty the hallway smelled bad the room was so dirty the bed sheet had hair in it and yellow stains. Their were bug and ants in the floor and spider web in the corners. Bathroom was nasty and hair in the floor. I ended up leaving and went to a different hotel.
The service was kind and the price was good
Quite dirty, found a few bugs in the room, underneath the beds was filthy

The room they had left was double the price I was paying for the organial. They had a long line of people with similar experience, I believe they gave out rooms away and treated us like it was something we did to not get a room just to charge us an outrageous price for the night. Will never book with them again.
