Never staying here again
Pros:

I didn’t like any part of this hotel. It was dirty, it smelled bad, poorly kept up, and staff was hard to come by skmetimes

Cons:

I didn’t like any of it. It was not in a great part of town. It was located right off the interstate in the business district. Very sketchy area. The whole facility smelled funny, carpets were horribly stained. The room wasn’t that well cleaned, linens were stained.

This stay was subpar to say the least

Not clean, staff not friendly, thin as paper walls, floor was sticky, smoky room even though we were in a non smoking room, really tough stay. No bed bugs though!

No shampoo and conditioner ., besides no light bulb in one of the lamps. Power went out a couple of hours . Prices of the vending machines are ridiculous. No microwave or fridge

Definitely a health hazard this place should be closed down ad condemned.

PLEASE BEWARE !!! This property was filthy .. the lobby, elevator smelled like dirty mop water. The carpet on 3rd floor where my room was mud black and disgusting 🤢🤮. The ceiling on the 3rd floor had a giant gapping hole in it. And mildew smell throughout the building. Spent $262 for 2 nights.. only got refunded for one night. Because of their no refund policy. I was too distraught and disgusted to think about photos.

Bad experience and will not recommend it to anyone
Pros:

Nothing at all. I am 68 years old and have knee pain and the elevator was out of order for three days , so I have to go upstairs and downstairs 4-5 times a day. My room was in the third floor.

Pros:

Good location. We had a last minute change of plans as our flight was very late and needed somewhere to stay. We flew into Chicago Midway at close to midnight. Due to a big music festival most hotels were booked solid.
Property was clean, in a good neighborhood about 7 miles from airport and reasonably priced.
Front desk staff on both night and morning shifts were really nice.
Room was large and adequate for our needs.

Fairly good stay, but the reception guy I had experience with, made it the worst.
Cons:

I stayed for a week. Through day 3 to day 5, I’ve requested some new towels couple of times but I did not receive it. On Day 5 I called the guy in the reception asking for some towels to room 231, he told me to come down to take them and hanged up while I was talking to him. When I went down, I asked him why he hanged up while we were on the phone, he responded “what do you want me to do!” And went away while I was talking to him back to the room inside the reception area (again). I believe some courtesy should be shown to all customers.
I believe this will be my last booking in Motel 6.

Pros:

The price was good and the staff member was polite and accommodating...

Cons:

The room was dirty unkempt, and the bed looked like it had been worn out years ago.Not to mention the surrounding atmosphere was just bad.I would not feel comfortable leaving family members there.It seemed like a rent by the hour kind of cheap motel... Not to mention the room did not have a microwave or a refrigerator but that was the least of my worries... Plus the lights did not work in the room.The main light anyways.It was so bad that I left and went to a different hotel...
