Parking downtown was good. Getting there was awkward because of one-ways.

Noisy had to change room
First room didn’t have sink in room and no mirror.
The location was great, and despite the small size of the room there was a mini fridge and induction stovetop. There was also a kureig on the table next to the bed. Everything looked clean and tidy.
We were both woken up by mice scratching and thumping in the walls behind the bed at 4am. We didn't see any in the room.
The TV didn't work - in the locations defense we were only there one night and didn't bring it up.
The room is very small. It has its own washroom, but the sink is located in the bed area near the stove. No large mirror anywhere in the unit, just a small makeup mirror near the sink.
The location was really the only good thing
Extremely noisy, light came in the windows all night, there was no soap, there was no sink in the bathroom, had to go to reception to ask for tea bags
Air conditioning wasn’t worth turning on , had no sleep workmen drilling all night had to pay for parking hotel very tired cracks in wash basin very unhelpful staff
Very central to a lot of attractions and food options in Downtown Victoria. Both rooms had AC and worked to make staying during the warmer seasons more cool. The rooms have a classic feel and that is what makes this hotel unique.
The entrance to the lobby and hallways smelled off and the room I stayed in smelled like an old smoking room. If they went to fix this there wouldn’t be anything wrong with me stay.
However once I told staff about it they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
They put me in a room with a jacuzzi and it was absolutely lovely. The new room did not have an off smell. Thank you for doing that!
De centrale ligging was zeer prettig. De bedden waren comfortabel.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very helpful, location was in the heart of Victoria and a very short walk to the harbour, and there were plenty of coffee/breakfast shops and pubs nearby.
Government Street closes down to driving traffic in the afternoon/evening, which is great for walking, but there was a lot of noise in the evening from buskers and the public. Some people don’t mind that but I need my sleep. I would stay there again but would request a room on the other side of the property.
This is not a boutique hotel. At best a two star. The hotel is in need of significant upgrades. It is extremely dated and run down. Extremely disappointing
The hotel was decent with a great location. The hotel room was vintage. A bit old fashioned, but also vintage.
I had some need from my work among others getting some prints that was not possible to get help to. I also asked for recommendation for breakfast and was adviced to go to McDonald although the pub next door served breakfast. The staff seem liked they did not really kniw the city.
Good location comfortable , quiet if you have an ocean view
We had an ocean view but there was chicken wire in all the Windows so it felt like a prison not a view !
The room was clean but we found mold behind a heater .
