Felt lied to about the hotel's ammenities.

The room was updated and seemed clean.

Cons:

I chose this hotel for the swimming pool that was advertised. When I got there, I asked about the location of the pool and they said it's been under maintenance for months (or more) and was not available.

Pros:

I checked in at 1am after delayed flight. It was$250 for one night in an old interior. Old everything.
The man in charge was very brief , not welcoming. Check out was 11 am I asked if I could do 12, one more hour. He said no and walked away.

Cons:

Clearly a 2 star venue. Not super clean, amenities were basic including breakfast.
A couple of suspicious characters outside off to the side of the parking lot on 2
nights when I returned at 9:30pm or so.

Elevator out of order, hallway temps were too warm and no coffee in lobby waiting area. In general needs a bit of maintenance/sprucing up.

Banditry on an unconscionable level
Pros:

This place is abyssmal. We were delayed out of O'Hare and this was the only place we could find. They charged us over $600 for a C- cheap hotel room at a C- hotel. They should be pilloried for taking such advantage of elderly travelers who had no options. Banditry is alive and well in Arlington Heigts
