Really nice hotel- could be great with a few tweaks
Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous grounds. We loved sitting out and having drinks in the evening, listening to the piano. Rooms are very nice. Great pool, with good service from the pool area.

Cons:

During our time at the pool, a hotel employee appeared to be giving local kids full-blown swim lessons. Hard to relax and sip your wine while six kids on kick boards come flying toward you. The kids were adorable, it just didn’t seem appropriate for the setting. Maybe they could do this in the off season? The pool was packed with hotel guests and there was just no room for this.
Other small issues were the service at the bar, which was extremely slow. It felt like they just didn’t have enough staff for peak season. The Internet was also painfully slow.
We also got massages. The spa facilities and massage experience were very subpar and now at the level of the hotel overall. It felt like a budget massage. Very disappointing and I don’t recommend it.

Only the name stands the rest forget it!!
Cons:

We had 2 rooms, one room had electrical issues and was not fixed during our stay, second room had leaking air conditioning, tv didn’t work and power socket didn’t work, reported to reception but nobody bothered to came. On departure day they dropped 3 times our suitcase for the trolley and the Valet was not around so I picked up the car by myself (not a problem but you pay for a service that you actually don’t get) all has been reported to front office which informed me that the General Manager will surely get in contact with me, but this never happened……. Sign of not caring……

Gorgeous hotel with a great vibe- a few small adjustments could make it exceptional.
Pros:

It’s absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the lovely grounds and atmosphere. Very close to the sea with local restaurants nearby. The vibe at the bar, while listening to the piano and sitting outside was a great experience.

Cons:

There were some odd things about the pool. There were literal swim lessons occurring while we were in the pool. A hotel employee was coaching 5-6 girls as they swam laps and did diving lessons while we were sipping wine in the pool. It was strange to all of a sudden be swarmed by a group of girls in a swim lessons while we tried to relax. I think they should keep their swim lessons to off hours or something because this was distracting and inconvenient. Also, the lifeguard wouldn’t allow our kids to jump from the side into the pool. I completely understand if this was a safety issue and we would respect the rules, but the swim instructor/hotel employee was giving his students diving instructions. Not sure why the rules were different for hotel guests.
The Internet sucked.

The Grand Hotel, Rimini
Pros:

Superb hotel with excellent staff. Always greeted with a smile. Breakfast was top quality and the Buffet Banquet at Dinner (three times a week!) was outstanding with gentlemen required to wear long trousers. Lovely pool and private beach with beds and towels provided. Our room was made up immaculately every day and kept very clean. The hotel building is itself very historic and has been kept in beautiful condition. We will go back!

5 Star Beach & Building not 5 star service
Pros:

Incredible location, buildings grounds and beach. The service was not 5 star other than one incredible lady who ran breakfast on the terrace who was incredibly attentive, professional and warm. Please note when the terrace dinners are being held, you are not able to eat at the hotel. Coming in late off of the beach I was told the dinner was fully booked so there was no food available for guests anywhere else. I would not recommend this hotel purely because of the poor service. Shame it has so much potential

Perfect Stay in Rimini
Pros:

Amazing breakfast, good staff and really pretty hotel. Would come again! Also, the gardener was very kind to us, shoutout to him.

Better communication from your staff is needed
Pros:

I was a bit skeptical at first, so I didn't book a room there and instead went with another option in Rimini. With the insistence of my host, he recommended that I spend at least the day there on the beach, promoting great service, f&b, etc. I gave it a try, and booked the dame day, the reception confirmed a price of 50 euros for the day access, which turned out to be 120 euros actually despite earlier confirmation from the staff. Not worth it at all, definitely a rip off. Better communication next time would be appreciated.

Best family vacation ever
Pros:

Our stay with two grandchildren 3 and 6 years plus the parents was FANTASTIC !!!! all the staff was professional and freindly and the experience including the beach was top!

Historisches Gebäude (leider zu wenig unterhalten) hat aber noch Potenzial

Cons:

Personal eher oberflächlich (abgesehen die Dame Chef de Service, die absolut aufmerksam und überaus freundlich und kompetent war). Preis Leistung schlecht. Strand Liege für eine Person 120 Euro!!!!!

Beautiful, relaxing, and no need to look somewhere else for dining but local options a short walk
Pros:

The history of the hotel and it's beauty. Takes you back to the time of movie stars and the rich and famous who have stayed there. The grounds, the lobby, dining room and sitting room are just outstanding. For a European hotel a large bathroom with a jetted tub. Wonderful service.

Cons:

They could use a bigger pool.

Pros:

La camera si è rivelata abbastanza rumorosa, ma a causa di un evento previsto in quei giorni; per il resto, il servizio era all'altezza, tranne che all'accoglienza, quando non si è presentato nessuno ad aiutarci con i bagagli.

Cons:

La vasca da bagno è troppo alta e risulterebbe praticamente inutilizzabile a persone con qualche difficoltà motoria, tipo artrosi dell'anca o del ginocchio (non è il nostro caso). . Inoltre, presenta una pendenza che aumenta il rischio di scivolare. Sarebbe da sostituire.
