Location perfect to attend Braves Games
Bar area had limited hours in afternoon before Braves game
The carpets where very old and I had allergic reaction once I stepped in made my Throat started to itch and had a stale strong damp smell absolutely horrible room 1540
The Carpets where very very old and for someone who is allergic to carpets I was hugely disappointed
The hotel was cool and very clean. We were able to check in a little early because we arrived to meet friends and they had a room available. The shuttle to the baseball park was fast and friendly, and it was close enough we could walk back after the game to avoid the traffic. The breakfast buffet was very tasty, as was the food we purchased for dinner from Rocks. Check-out was fast and easy.
The pool is very small, especially for such a large hotel. Had we had to wait until 4 to check-in the lines for checking in were extremely long and slow (line went from the desk all the way around by the restaurant and back to the bathrooms. When I made the reservation, I reserved a room at the concierge level and paid for the extra amenities- lounge with snacks and nonalcoholic drinks, breakfast buffet, etc. While I did receive the breakfast buffet it was in the regular restaurant, not in the lounge area. Also, the lounge is not available on weekends except for the hours of 5:30-10:00, so I was unable to have this amenity because we were attending the baseball game. Had I known the concierge lounge had limited hour on the weekend, I would not have paid extra for this service. I am definitely unsatisfied.
Location
Do NOT stay here for Braves games. We had to wait more than an hour in line in the hotel just to check in ... at 3 p.m.! They have to know they get busy for Braves homestands, and yet they were overwhelmed. Also, their signage is awful, and doesn't separate them from the Springhill Suites that shares the same parking lot. The Springhill Suites had no line.
We had the most delightful experience with a young woman named Phyllis Bass. Many thanks to her. The hotel is old but well maintained. The staff could be a little more friendly and caring. Housekeeping was kind and sweet. Several issues with the room key locks. The concierge lounge was out of coffee by 8:30 am. A little surprised by the lack of attentiveness from the staff. When traveling through Atlanta I have chosen this hotel many times. Usually the staff is kind and caring and professional. Perhaps a little coaching can go a long way for the next guests.
We stay at this location because it is walking distance to Truist Park. Environment feels safe and it was clean with no odors.
It is an older hotel so there are some maintenance issues and it is a bit dated. Extra charges will be added to your bill for "incidentals" and parking - about $90! And the wifi is not free as is advertised
The first floor hallways were very run down, rooms were better but not a typical Marriott experience
Location is Great for getting to Braves Game.
The Price has gone up a bit much since last year.
Jainaba is the absolute best. She was super kind to me and my son, especially when he wasn’t feeling well. The food was outstanding but she was even better. Highly recommend dining there and please request Jainaba, she’s outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful trip and experience. We will definitely be back with the entire family.
Griffin
Terrible hotel. Not well maintained. Rooms have an odor and mold. Grossest hotel ever!
The room were not cleaned up until after 6PM. After all day at a baseball game the first thing I wanted to do is to clean up and then go out for dinner. We had to ask for fresh towels and wait until they were delivered before getting into the shower. This makes for a late dinner.
Also, the AC unit is very loud.
I liked everything

Excellent location with shuttle service to many fun activities. Marketplace staff were incredibly friendly and service was outstanding.
This hotel is within walking distance of the Braves field. The gym is also very nice for a hotel. It's a little more than your average two treadmills and a stack of dumbbells. The breakfast staff was very friendly. Other than that, it's your average Marriott.
