We stay at this location because it is walking distance to Truist Park. Environment feels safe and it was clean with no odors.
It is an older hotel so there are some maintenance issues and it is a bit dated. Extra charges will be added to your bill for "incidentals" and parking - about $90! And the wifi is not free as is advertised
The first floor hallways were very run down, rooms were better but not a typical Marriott experience
Location is Great for getting to Braves Game.
The Price has gone up a bit much since last year.
Terrible hotel. Not well maintained. Rooms have an odor and mold. Grossest hotel ever!
The room were not cleaned up until after 6PM. After all day at a baseball game the first thing I wanted to do is to clean up and then go out for dinner. We had to ask for fresh towels and wait until they were delivered before getting into the shower. This makes for a late dinner.
Also, the AC unit is very loud.
I liked everything

Excellent location with shuttle service to many fun activities. Marketplace staff were incredibly friendly and service was outstanding.
This hotel is within walking distance of the Braves field. The gym is also very nice for a hotel. It's a little more than your average two treadmills and a stack of dumbbells. The breakfast staff was very friendly. Other than that, it's your average Marriott.
The staff was amazing, the Buffett breakfast was amazing and everything from the restaurant and bar was top notch h!
No hot tub
January 21st I reserved three rooms with two queen beds at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria for myself and my five college pals June 5th baseball trip to Atlanta. This hotel was selected due to its 14 minute walk to the ballpark. Seven days before our arrival in Atlanta I received an email notification that due to an unexpected early start to a planned renovation our rooms were not available. Two unacceptable alternatives were offered and less than equal accommodations were accepted at a sister hotel on the same grounds due to the now five days before our arrival. During our three day stay, we never saw any signs of construction work, but we did see a bus load of youth baseball players check in on June 5th. Hmm, honor a reservation for 3 rooms, or rent out 10 or more to a youth baseball team?
We were here for the Blade Show
Our room was great the best Marriott yet as far as cleanliness and service. Food was outstanding especially the chocolate cake.
Shuttle service was prompt, drivers were friendly and professional.
This hotel left a lot to be desired. We did appreciate the front desk attendant who assisted us in walking to a near by hotel for the duration of our stay. He was professional and assisted in rectifying a very disappointing situation discovered in our room accomodations.
There were several disapointments with this specific property. Prior to our arrival we received a notice that our accommodations had been changed due to a shortage of rooms. Our room was changed to a king bed from 2 double beds. We were traveling with our 11 year old son which mentioned all 3 of us would have to sleep in the one bed. There was no couch provided in the room only a chair which my son was resorting to sleeping in. The hotel was very dated, appeared dirty, and the rooms were the smallest I have ever seen for a Marriott..
After checking in we decided to go down to the Rocks restaurant to grab a bite to eat and watch the Braves game. We were in town for the weekend to see the Braves play on Saturday. Much to our disappointment the hotel did not even get the Braves game. How can a hotel pride themselves on the "hotel of the Braves" when guests can't even watch the game in the lounge. Staff advised they didn't get those channels.
Once we finished our meals and returned to our room for the evening we pulled back the shits to the bed and there were blood stains on the sheets and pillow. This was immediately reported to the front desk. We were advised there were no additional rooms and they could not move our room. We then asked for someone to come change the linens at which point we were advised housekeeping has left for the evening. The only option was to pack our bags at midnight and move to another hotel. Which we did. The front desk attendant was very accommodating in assisting us in our transition to the Springhill Suites next door.we were very disappointed in this hotel and I would never stay here or recommend anyone to stay at this resort.
Great location for food and Braves games. Excellent stay very friendly and helpful. Jimmy and Tommy who drive the shuttles are great. Couldn't ask for better service getting you to and from your destinations. Overall my wife and I had a great stay.
The hotel cancelled our reservation for tonight and we just found out last night. When we called they couldn’t tell us why it was cancelled and they are now sold out. It was difficult to find other accommodation on such short notice for the ballgame. The person we spoke to at the desk was incredibly unhelpful and told us there was no manager we could speak to about the issue. I have never had a hotel cancel a confined reservation and it made for a very frustrating experience. We had booked this weekend for my 40th birthday and it really took away from the fun.
Proximity to the Atlanta Braves Stadium was extremely convenient. The outside of the property was well kept the swimming pool area is tucked away nicely for privacy and feels like a nice place to relax.
The lobby restaurant and bar area were nice although hours are extremely limited. Beyond the first floor lobby and the outside areas the hotel itself feels a little dated dressed up with some paint. The rooms are very small for what you pay. Also I was charged several hundred dollars more for the room than what Booking.com showed. I would pay as a total price. I understand this is likely because it was a game day and the Braves were home. The online room service is a joke. I placed an order at 7 o’clock at night. Waited till 840 at night and went downstairs and was told oh it will probably be there soon. It never came and I was charged for it.
Good location to Truist Park. Bed was very comfortable. Size of the TV was nice.
The faucet in the bathroom was loose. The shower floor was very slippery-a dangerous hazard for senior citizens. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would be nice. Seemed a bit understaffed in the bar area.
Stayed at the Marriott for our friends annual baseball weekend. Rooms were clean and neat. Location was really convenient to Truist Park and the Battery (less than a mile away). There was also a complimentary shuttle that could bring you within 3 miles of the hotel. We used the shuttle to get to the Battery the first day and each of the next 2 days. Jimmy was a great help with the shuttle and had great recommendations for local breakfast and dinner (J. Christopher's and Papacitos). I would recommend the Marriott to anyone who is visiting Atlanta for a Braves game
The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect for our visit to the ballpark.
I didn't realize there wasn't a mini fridge or microwave in the room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work.
