Great building, much prefer the old school charm to the soulless newer accommodation options

Great Location near Parliament.
Pros:

Always had wanted to stay here. Room was large and the location was near Parliament so it was near the top end of the city, which was perfect for us. Breakfast was a la carte, delicious and just enough. They have great GF options.

Cons:

There were 2 single beds attached together and the bed was not that comfortable. We had Valet parking included but when we arrived it was ages before they could take the car as there was not enough staff on. To pick up the car it takes a minimum 15 mins as it is not located on site- so allow time.

Enjoyed the location & Hight Tea
Pros:

Location is great , rooms were comfortable. We attended the High Tea with friends & that was excellent , really good value, excellent food & staff

Cons:

We had no hot water pressure at all , the building is old so are pipes , there is very little water pressure. The first room we had we had to have a cold shower , we advised the desk twice & were eventually able to change rooms , the second room was a better but the hot/cold ratio was still very hard to achieve & very little overall pressure, you wouldn't want to need to wash your hair !

Location perfect. Room was comfortable.

Common areas - reception, lifts etc were quite shabby and some area were not clean.
