Slightly uncomfortable and completely over priced
Pros:

It was very nice in the lobby area

Cons:

The breakfast was $21+tax without the normal breakfast accommodations. The “queen” bed was not a queen size. My boyfriend and I couldn’t fit and had to sleep in separate beds. We spent the entire 1st 5 years sleeping in a queen sized bed without issues so i know the bed was not the proper sizing. To top it off, the AC barely blew regardless of which setting it was on.

Good place to stay for the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival
Pros:

Walking distance to the Minnesota Yacht Club festival .
Bed was comfortable.
Staff very accommodating.

The room was dated, felt like it needed a remodel

Worked for what we needed
Pros:

Great location.

Cons:

Expensive for the condition of the rooms, rust spots on fixtures, ladybugs in towels in bathroom. Towels stored in shower space so they get steamy. Floors are stained and dirty.

Nice hotel, not great quality sleep
Pros:

The woman on the reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room had all advertised amenities, and spotlessly clean. The air-conditioning worked well. The location is good, in downtown Saint Paul, within an easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Cons:

My room overlooked a large vacuous space, which was kind of creepy. There was a very loud humming noise in my room all night, which made for a poor night’s sleep.

Beware - Hotel is rundown and in disrepair
Pros:

Stay anywhere else. This hotel is unsafe, unkempt, and in a state of disrepair. Staff cannot be bothered to answer questions... NOTHING was open around the hotel, hotel restaurant was closed even though signage everywhere advertised the breakfast with Saturday hours, and when I asked if room service would be available for breakfast or coffee I received an eye roll and a terse no.
