Worked for what we needed
Pros:

Great location.

Cons:

Expensive for the condition of the rooms, rust spots on fixtures, ladybugs in towels in bathroom. Towels stored in shower space so they get steamy. Floors are stained and dirty.

Nice hotel, not great quality sleep
Pros:

The woman on the reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room had all advertised amenities, and spotlessly clean. The air-conditioning worked well. The location is good, in downtown Saint Paul, within an easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Cons:

My room overlooked a large vacuous space, which was kind of creepy. There was a very loud humming noise in my room all night, which made for a poor night’s sleep.

Beware - Hotel is rundown and in disrepair
Pros:

Stay anywhere else. This hotel is unsafe, unkempt, and in a state of disrepair. Staff cannot be bothered to answer questions... NOTHING was open around the hotel, hotel restaurant was closed even though signage everywhere advertised the breakfast with Saturday hours, and when I asked if room service would be available for breakfast or coffee I received an eye roll and a terse no.

Honestly you’d have a more comfortable stay at a motel than this.
Pros:

The first attendant on the overnight shift was super cute and helpful. No free parking, no good directions about how to get breakfast included with the stay. The breakfast host was completely uninviting, constantly staring and pointing at us to other employees and forced the busboy to tell us we need our breakfast vouchers from the front desk. And then he kept watching me eat and serve myself and just continue to point and talk about us to the other employees. Did not greet us. We asked the hotel host where to find the breakfast area, and he also did not make it clear we needed vouchers with our stay and just sent us. No extra blankets in the room, the hotel had mouse droppings by our window. There was a lot of dust above the microwave and food area.

Parking extra
Pros:

Room was clean, hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful.

Cons:

Pay for parking. I understand in a large city parking is a rare commodity, but if I'm staying at the hotel, that should be included in the price. Also, it was $22 for someone to park and leave their car and it was $26 for someone to have the "privilege" to drive in and out of the lot during their stay. Privilege was their word, not mine.

nice room and great location

Pros:

Way over priced for a ratty "party" dirty hotel. We stayed in the suite. No air conditioning, fan only, so we were hot and uncomfortable. So much deferred maintenance and dirty/shot out furniture that it's too much to list. $22 per day to park. $108 in taxes, $150 sec deposit and no acknowledgement of diamond status or parking available. When we arrived, our entire floor smelled like an active bong party. Was so bad it was even in our room. Do not even think about staying here. This hotel does not live up to DoubleTree or Hilton standards.
The burger and fries were good. The front desk and staff at the restaurant and bar were helpful and friendly but obviously understaffed.

Quick stop for a concert in downtown St. Paul.
Pros:

Check in was easy and people were nice. Shower was fantastic. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and pillows were generous. It was a lot of room for the price.

Cons:

I was unclear as to what the hours were for the bar/restaurant. It's a bit of a hike to get to any place that isn't an overcrowded sports bar, but that's a tiny complaint.
