I’d stay there again just because of the incredibly nice staff.
Pros:

Great staff! So friendly and nice! Always there to help! Can’t say enough about the people that work there.

Cons:

Rooms are outdated. The ice buckets are a tad too small. Some of the furniture was worn out but the beds were very comfortable and clean. This is a decent hotel.

Hotel was fair priced for a Saturday night for an event
Pros:

Location was great as we were attending an event at Grand Casino Arena. Staff was friendly. Room was clean.

Cons:

Website indicated a shuttle available to Grand Casino Arena; this was not available. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Toilet would not flush.

Pros:

The pool was great. Breakfast was delicious. And super easy check in.

Cons:

My only complaint is the hot water took so long to come on in the shower.

Reservation cancelled by hotel last minute
Pros:

My reservation was cancelled by the hotel after it was already confirmed, for reasons unrelated to availability or payment. I was explicitly told the cancellation was based on political views rather than any issue with my stay.
This left me scrambling to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, which was stressful and costly. Regardless of anyone’s beliefs, a hotel should honor confirmed reservations or cancel only for legitimate operational reasons.
I would not book here again and would caution others that reservations may not be honored based on non-hospitality-related considerations.

Do not book this dump!
Pros:

They cancelled our stay and left us with no options, mid-stay! Not worthy of the Hilton brand. Stay anywhere else! I wouldn’t let my inlaws stay here. It’s a dump in a bad part of town, don’t fall for their deceptive photography.

upset that we did not get the room at the property where we booked and paid more. A lot of hassle.
Cons:

We arrived at around 4:30pm. Was told our room was not ready and to come back within a couple of hours. Before returning I received a call from Double Tree saying they had overbooked and did not have a room for us. They instead booked us at a sister Hilton property. We had to go back to the hotel to get the paperwork to take to the other property. Arriving at the other property, was told they had no rooms with 2 beds as requested so had to share a king bed with my friend. Also Double Tree gave us the paperwork showing they were paying $166 for us to stay at the sister property which was quite a bit less than I was charged for Double Tree. Valet parking was more expensive at the sister hotel. I have never been told a hotel overbooked. I was traveling with other friends and the same thing happened to them.

Scam! Sects charges for everything even after being told it was included.
Pros:

The pool

Cons:

The bathroom smelled horrible the whole time. We were not given breakfast even though the app stated breakfast included. One staff (Kesha) was incredibly rude when we showed proof that the app stated breasfast, she refused to give us any explanation or help. We were also charged for parking after we were told it was validated with our stay.

We enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again, definitely.
Pros:

We enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving visit with our daughter, who lives in St Paul. Staying here facilitated that nicely! The staff was exceptional, working on the Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you

Cons:

If more people were staying there, I wonder if the bar and/or restaurant could have been open. It’s understandable that they weren’t open, but it would have been nice.
