The staff. The guy who checked me into the place was overly nice, he knew he was smiling for a roach.
Where do I start. It was advertise as a Doubletree, but the entire lobby in the half of the hotel was completely torn up….. and you folks advertised it as a four star property when I booked it. The first room smelt of overly water flood. And the tv didn’t work and both tvs didn’t work, and the remote was gone.
The water pressure in room 111 is a joke. I switched rooms. 1140 however didn’t smell like water, and was extra clean and everything worked.
The
The property is old and dirty. It needs a total renovations which is currently happening. They waited too late to start on this project.
Front desk person felt so sorry for us and I won’t blame him at work. But it was shocking when I entered the hotel.
It was my wife’s birthday and I booked the hotel for 2 nights. I changed room 3 times. The entire building is under construction and everything inside is falling apart. I have pictures of the condition of this hotel am my room I was living in the website didn’t adv that the interior building is going to through construction.
I wish I would have read the reviews in in Google before hand and not the reviews TripAdvisor sends through the Hilton app.
Not since Bucharest in the 70s, under the iron fist of Ceausescu, have I enjoyed such minimalism. The uncovered box springs, the sheet resting directly on the mattress with no pad or protector, the unvacuumed and spotted carpet, the grotty sink drain and furry grouting —- and this in the “Buckeye Suite” which boasts a low-ceilinged, windowless conference room, a capacious coat closet and unplugged cola cooler.
The lobby, front desk and dining area have been gutted, but there is hope because the former seating area is stacked with building materials. A gentle film of construction dust accompanies you into the elevator - don’t lean against anything. And they were out of warm cookies when we arrived.
Whoever made the decision to keep this facility open during the current construction has made a tactical error. We are hotel guests, not thrall of the post-war Balkans, and we want some hospitality.
Absolutely filthy. They were in the middle of a remodel and it was evident on arrival, but there was no communication or notice of this prior to arrival. Front entry was inaccessible, luckily I checked in on my app or i wouldn’t have been able to get in the building because every other door was locked with key entry only. Debris everywhere, even in the middle of the hallway. Tv barely worked. Paint fumes that made your head hurt. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
The room was a good set up for myself and my dogs.
It was 530p when I checked in; front desk didn't offer me a cart to move my items into my room; said there weren't any around. Granted I had two dogs on leash. I found one outside on the first floor. No cookie since she only had ones with peanuts. The eggs were grose/not fluffy and had pepper all over them. The next morning I declined breakfast, took a shower around 2p and then there was a fire. My dogs were shaking to no end & traumatized. They made us wait in the walkway area before you go outside. I had wet hair. Everyone was running around and there was no direction, information or sympathy. I will never go there again. So I asked for a refund for that night since it was so traumatizing and they said I can leave without any charges the that night. Clearly they have no customer service skills. So all three of us left, had to find my own cart, packed up my car and had to find another hotel at the last minute right before a big snow storm. I could only get the Extended Stay and it's a huge downgrade!
I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby for someone to check me in. I was so upset when they finally arrived that I told them to cancel my room. The management change is reflected in their poor performance.
I had no problem with breakfast or the location
