the sofa bed was super uncommittable and vas very dirty
I went in to check in my room with my reservation and the young lady approached me and immediately told me to leave .I was not given the option to give her my reservation number or anything. I'm just disappointed because it seems like a lot of the hotels in Montgomery County are choosing to do this now under new ownership somehow they're being all transferred to an LLC of different names. -Nicole Wright
Convenience/geography to where we needed to work, location near restaurants and other stores. Bar seemed nice, even though we didn't use it. A reasonable price for two nights, especially since it was an urgent booking.
Floor in our room was sticky, as if it'd been cleaned with water that wasn't fresh/clean; Automatic doors to main lobby from outside had a lot of trouble opening and closing - I had to force one open manually just to walk into the hotel; the tile at the sink had clear, obvious pencil and red marker marks on it from where the installer scribed it, but didn't bother to clean it off once finished; the a/c vent on the wall looked as if it'd been pulled off at one point; strange smells in hallway leading to elevator on first floor; staff had difficulty adding our Hilton membership # upon check-in; still not sure they ever got it; TV remote in the room was missing the battery door - batteries kept falling out; none of this was a deal breaker, but it did add to an overall feeling of neglect to the property. I've stayed there twice before in years past and it just seemed much nicer then.
Wasn't informed about the breakfast.
Hair in the shower, no paper towels, halfway clean, the shower also had some stains on the wall, the wi fi was terrible. And the price for the room was ridiculous!!!! Me and my wife wi not return!!!!
Good breakfast.
Quiet
Nice staff
-Fold out bed was torn and didn't unfold all the way.
-Reserved online, priced at $87.00, charged $127.00 and was only there 5 hours
- No towels to take a shower, called front desk but never got towels.
Exceeded my expectations, breakfast was made to order that was excellent. Has a full bar also with great staff. Room was updated with brand new renovations
My family and I arrived late at night, exhausted from traveling, only to find our room in terrible condition. The toilet was filthy, the ceiling had visible mildew stains, the floor was dirty, and the door was literally coming off its hinges. We had to spend extra time sanitizing the room ourselves just to feel somewhat comfortable.
When we brought these issues to management’s attention — who didn’t even show up until around noon — the only solution offered was to move us to another room, with no refund because it was “past 11:30.” After such a long trip, this was both disappointing and unacceptable. Clearly, cleanliness and guest care are not priorities at this hotel.
Please don’t let the pictures online mislead you. The property is rundown and in desperate need of renovation. I’m a 20+ year veteran who has served in combat overseas and have lived in cleaner environments than what we experienced here. Again, I strongly warn future guests — don’t be fooled by the photos.
Absolutely worst hotel since 2019. this used to be the place to stay, but this trip was an absolute zero. both night stands didn't work one was broken and supported by pieces of wood. trash under sofa. box springs broken, bed squeaked every time you moved. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. AC rattled when running. No help at front desk unless you found someone roaming around who looked like they might work there.
Nothing
At 5 PM i get a phone call from Doublyree Hilton saying all the rooms are full and I need to find someplace else to stay for the night had to query around for another hotel for the night
Outside of hotel is very rundown. No landscaping has been done in quite some time. My first thoughts when I drove up was, is this a real Hilton property. Rooms are fair for the price.
Outside security is very iffy. Backs up on two sides to an empty shopping center. No fencing and no security.
Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First thing you see when you walk up is flower beds full of weeds. That should’ve been the first clue. Squirrels rummaging their outdoor trash cans were the best. Free wild life experience. The room. Ooooo the room. The LTV floor with giant gaps. The worn out furniture. The pillows were flat and useless. The outlets on the lamps were so loose that nothing could stay plugged into them. The missing outlet cover behind the bed with bare wires showing. No soap. No towels. Pubic hair in the shower. Reversed plumbing. Hot was cold. Cold was hot. Flickering bulbs. Remotes that didn’t work for your viewing pleasure. You ask for soap, nope! You ask for an extra pillow, nope! They say you should’ve reported it sooner and no one is here that can fix. But hey, a free cookie! Nasty dirty filthy gross. Fit and finish was abhorrent. They’ll take your money though.
Do not waste your money here. Stay somewhere else. Was there for a 2 night stay and room was never touched. Had to throw a fit 2 times to get towels. Was told "we have a lot of guests" Well I was a paying guest also !!! Hallway smelled like smoke even though it's a "no smoking" floor. Stair well had really bad smell! Shower had pink looking funk around basin. The pool is bright green - not brilliant blue like this picture lol. The lobby area looked dated and dirty. Definitely will not be back!!! The grounds area looked dirty and all grown up. Reservation was non-refundable or I would have left !
My room wasn’t ready when I got there at 8 PM, I to wait for it to be done. There was a dead pigeon on my balcony and no one came to get it up after I reported it twice
upon check in, I noticed the room was a bit warm so I adjusted the thermostat, it was actually already set as low as it could go, but It was not cool , So I went to the front desk and they sent someone to fox it(so I thought) the next morning i reported it again... mind you their English was not the best - which notmally is not a problem for me- so communication was hampered.). when i came back from being out all day it was still warm in there. I asked again to have it fixed. nothing. at 5am the next morning I walked down to the front desk to inform them I would be checking out early due to the uncomfortable temperature in my room. he said alright. after packing my belongings for a weeks stay, I loaded my car and drove around front to turn in my keys. they guy at the front desk said he thought today was my original check out date and i was telling him I was leaving before 11. I said, who does that. he said I could not check out early without paying for the entire stay. we went around and around. (it was supposedly his second day so I had to wait til 7am to speak to another employee-) which I did and she was no help. the manager wouldn't be in til 3. I told them to get him on the phone. which they refused. I ended up leaving and calling my credit card company to dispute the charges.... which was finally settled today. over a month later! there was a gentleman checking out who had called corporate the night before and was told this hotel is owned by the people and they cant do anything about what they say! which is totally UNACCeptable for a Hilton establishment. We expected certain things with this name, but they don't t stand behind their name with private individuals using their name. so beware!!!!
Customer service? none.. they didnt answer calls to the desk from the room u less you called their outside line, they didnt offer to change rooms to accommodate me, we figure they have the air conditioning set as a whole building to keep electric bill charges lower! For a Hilton... run!
DO NOT DO IT! This is the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at. The lobby looks nice, but that's where it ends. The room was a nightmare and completely UNSAFE. We paid for a suite for myself, 2 sisters, and kids, but the sofa bed was broken, so we lost sleeping space for 2. Elevator: broken, Deadbolt: 100% unusable, Security latch on the door: broken off, TV: broken, and the real cherry on top was a pair of fake eyelashes stuck to the base of the bedside lamp! Even better, I had prepaid for 3 nights, but we fled after 1 night and didn't get a full refund for the next 2. They claim I should've called for maintenance to come fix the security issues (which still did not resolve alllll the other problems), but our flight was delayed and we arrived late with sleepy toddlers and exhausted after a day of travel. So, apparently, it's the guest's responsibility to ensure the room is in acceptable shape and then be further inconvenienced when they come to fix it. I called Hilton corporate, but they were no help, and the hotel conveniently failed to accurately reflect the checkout date on the guest folio, so I can't win a dispute through my credit card.
