Hôtel décevant vu son image et son prix
Pros:

Emplacement ( même s’il ne donne pas directement sur la plage) Spa ouvert tard.

Cons:

2 réceptionnistes femme moyennement aimables (sèches) . Chambres non faites à 14 heures 30. Éclats dans la peinture de la salle de bains, intérieur de certains placards …deco tristoune.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel - the facilities are pristine, the location is perfect and the rooms are generous and quiet.

My only criticism is that they made a terrible first impression when we arrived—admittedly, on one of the busiest afternoons of the year. We arrived an hour or so before the official check-in time after a very long and strenuous cross-country car journey and, quite understandably, our room was not yet ready and we were asked to return in an hour; we were happy to do so. On our return to the hotel at the official check-in time, the room was still not ready, which I can, again, understand given how busy the hotel was. However, the team really dropped the ball at this point, as we were then left hanging around in a very uncomfortable limbo for the next hour and a half without being offered any refreshments or use of the facilities to freshen up while the room was being prepared.

Mistakes do happen and things can be overlooked but the Barriere holds itself out as a cut above the rest, so I would have expected them to take better care of all their guests, even when under pressure. This introduction was very disappointing and coloured the rest of our short stay in Dinard.

Pros:

La chambre était spacieuse, parfaitement propre et très bien insonorisée. Le personnel s’est montré accueillant, attentif et souriant à chaque instant, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner, varié et de grande qualité, mérite une mention spéciale.
