From the front desk staff, to the porters, to the entire in room dining staff, my stay was not only without incident but flawless in it's execution. This hotel is so comfortable and welcoming that I could say here long term. And that's really saying something.

Super friendly and clean hotel. Evening dinner was amazing service and well prepared foods. Top notch servers deserving of an exceptional tip. Lots to do nearby and easy walk. My trip was a cross-country sleeper train experience (nice experience) plus Oregon was the 48th state for me to visit! Recently, I booked a one-night stay to surprise my two young daughters with a hotel experience, and they absolutely loved their time at The Benson. The moment we pulled up, we were greeted by Katie from the hotel staff, who showered my girls with attention and got them even more excited for their stay. It was such a thoughtful welcome and set the tone for the rest of our visit.
With a 5 and 3 year old, it didn’t take long before they announced they were hungry, so we ordered room service and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of kid friendly options. Carl confirmed our order and promised a speedy delivery which was much appreciated for two very eager little appetites!
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and one I’m now committed to making a quarterly tradition for quality time with my girls.

The room was good! Though I had paid for a corner room but I didnt get one.
Hot water kettle and a small toothpaste etc would have been good in the toiletries!
The breakfast details should be disclosed: That if breakfast is paid for and covered with room, but has a limit to a given price should be made clear.
Beautiful architecture, comfortable beds,clean bathrooms. Restaurant meals were excellent, especially the service & genuine interest of John & Keith in our comfort & opinions. Front desk people were professional, courteous & very helpful also. Highly recommend.
I stayed here on a company trip and spent a few nights at the bar. I have never met a kinder crew than the Benson bar staff. Specially John L. is the sweetest and kindest person. He truly went the extra mile for us ever day. It is service like his that truly brings the luxury element of this property to a new level.
I commend the manager and staff for their outstanding customer service – It was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I’ve had in recent years! From the Valet parking to the Front Desk and Bell staff. All were extremely friendly, professional and helpful.
