Would happily stay there again.
Pros:

Liked the excellent hotel location , helpful staff, room was very clean and breakfast was very good. Would happily stay again.

Cons:

Hotel room was small for 2 people with suitcases, but we were aware of this from the reviews. As we were only staying 1 night was definitely worth it for the excellent location.

Beautiful hotel in Florence
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, great location,
rooms are spacious, clean, AC worked well, large updated bathrooms, mini fridge, complimentary water bottles as well as a bottle of chianti. Rooms had all amenities you would expect in a 4 star hotel.

A first class hotel
Pros:

We are just back from a five day break in Florence. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Cavour which we can highly recommend as an excellent place to stay. The location is very central being very near to the Duomo. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection to choose from. The cleanliness of the hotel was first rate and our room was serviced daily. The location was perfect and within walking distance of most places. There were numerous good restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

Fantastic hotel in a great location with welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed in a queen room. No issue with noise but we were on the 5th floor and only had the windows open a couple of times. Comfy bed, nice room. Great air conditioning! Could have done with more drawers in the dressing area but plenty of hanging space. Breakfast is very good quality with a huge selection. The roof terrace is well worth a visit; it is pricey but drinks come with free nibbles - book it for sunset, which is spectacular, to make the most of it. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel at no charge, which was a bonus - as was the 12 noon check out as our flight home was a late one - which allowed us to make the most of our last day.

Great location, nice hotel but be careful of charges
Pros:

Hotel lobby and breakfast buffet area are beautiful and well kept. Although both seemed very warm (possibly no A/C)

Room was a bit old but updated as best as could be for such an old building. Bathroom was quite large and nice. Hotel towels and robes were also very nice.

Hotel is in a great location and close to the Duomo. I couldn’t figure out the A/C so in the morning we would open the windows to let the room cool off. I woke up on day three with mosquito bites all over my face and body. Informed the front desk and they had the chambermaid come and out a pest plug in the room.

Hotel was kind to leave a bottle of wine in our room for our anniversary.

Breakfast buffet was very ample. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar.

Upon checking out were were asked to leave a tip in percentage ( for what we thought was our drinks at the rooftop bar). After looking closely, the percentage was on our entire stay which totaled well over 200 euros. We felt this was in poor taste for them to ask this because we were not asked to do that at any of our other stays throughout Italy or the rest of Europe.

Tolle Lage wirklich super
Pros:

Tolles Hotel und eine Mega Bar. Mittendrin wirklich super. Wir waren auch sehr gern oben in der rooftop Bar. Mega Ausblick
