Tolle Lage wirklich super
Pros:

Tolles Hotel und eine Mega Bar. Mittendrin wirklich super. Wir waren auch sehr gern oben in der rooftop Bar. Mega Ausblick

Pros:

Emplacement top, l’accueil et la congièrerie excellents, Petit déjeuner incroyable

Pas de frigo en marche et pas de chaise dans la chambre

Great hotel choice for visiting Florence
Pros:

Wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Cavour. Amazing location just steps from the Duomo and close to all the main tourist sites, as well as lots of restaurants and bars. My single room had a view of the Duomo, which was incredible. The Hotel is a beautiful, classic Italian hotel and the staff are incredible. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room to look at but not comfortable for the price
Pros:

Set in an aged grand building, this hotel appears to be ideal but it is not.
The room was huge and ornate but dark and lights required all day. This compatres to a smaller room that we saw at the back that was very light.
The electics are appalling.
The nearest on either side of the bed (very comfortable ones) were at least 10 feet away so no phone charging over night and it was a choice of your phone, the minibar (in this day and age do people use this for overpriced drinks?) or the coffee machine!!
It also meant to use your phone while charging, you had to sit on the floor.
There is no point anywhere near the ornate table/desk.
The bed side lights required hersellf to get out of bed to reach the switch - until we were able to turn the whole table, to which the light was stuck, around.
When I tried to explain all this at Reception they sent someone up who was from maintenance and really did not understand Englsh but we managed to communicate with our hands and he came back with extention leads
The wifi was very slow - presumably due to the walls - but I believe that this could be overcome with more boosters?
And for over 400 euro a night - cardboard cups? Maybe an Italian thing but went down like a lead balloon for us..........

Staff and location are perfect for Florence
Pros:

The location and staff were excellent. Rooms are very comfortable. The roof top bar is a great place to end your day. Motile at reception and Sal on rooftop bar love their work and it shows

Excellent Hotel at a fantastic place.
Pros:

An excellent hotel in a superb location. You can walk to all of Florence’s major attractions. The room isn’t large but it’s very comfortable; the breakfast is excellent and the staff are kind, polite and helpful. A wonderful stay in a 16th-century palazzo.

l'accueil les services les dames s'occupant de gérer le petit déjeuner delicieux l'excellent restaurant parfait juste à 20 mètres même côté.

Cons:

le monde tres bruyant la nuit mais là période très peuplée de touristes donc normal
