For a short stay it definitely met my expectations.
Pros:

The front desk staff were friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast at Gracie’s was delicious.

Cons:

The room was too small and not very spacious.

For a quick stay, I would try again but request not to be by elevator.
Pros:

Parking garage was easy, staff were welcoming. For as old as the bathroom was, the hot water and water pressure in shower was nice!

Cons:

This hotel is old, which has its charm but also has its downfalls. Our room had the elevator right behind the headboard and all night it was operating. The bathroom was very quaint (small).

Good with a Couple of Issues
Pros:

Nicely restored older hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Location is pretty convenient to be able to walk to Powell's Book and the Pearl District.
There were some issues. No coffee in the room and the front desk at check-in doesn't tell you there's some in the lobby in the morning... so you don't discover it until you're ready to walk out the door. Really, the front desk didn't communicate much of anything at any point, even when asked a question.
The website touts their historic bar and includes a menu of specialty Manhattans, but it seems that hasn't been offered in quite a while, and the bartender wasn't sure he could make one. Maybe an update to the website is in order.
Finally, it took the hot water quite a while to reach the shower in my room, but it got there. Also, you must tell them if you want housekeeping, but can't tell them at check-in, you must tell them in the morning.

Pros:

Good location, particularly to Washington Park and 23rd street restaurants. Price was good.

Cons:

Check-in process was inconvenient (our room was not available until 4:30 pm) and the lobby was booked for a private event. Rooms were OK, but a little worn.

Great heritage building with good amenities and confortable rooms.
Pros:

The hotel was good and staff were very nice and helpful. I was new to the area so their suggestions and ideas for places to go were very well recieved.

Cons:

Bath and shower connection was hard to work and had an issue with staying on. Location was a bit away from restaurants and night items but that was OK as short walk and good weather was found.

Pros:

Hotel com ótima localização. As atrações do centro de Portland são acessíveis a pé. O metrô de superfície fica a 1 quarteirão. Para quem vai de carro tem um estacionamento coberto ao lado do hotel mas custa 40 dólares. Entretanto a dois quarteirões tem um parking público (é descoberto e aberto) a 17 dólares o pernoite.

Cons:

O quarto era um pouco apertado.
Tivemos que pedir na recepção para arrumarem o quarto diariamente porque senão eles o fazem de 2/2 dias. Mas nos atenderam prontamente e arrumaram todos os dias.

Our go to Portland hotel
Pros:

The Hotel Deluxe has become our go to hotel in Portland. We’ve stayed there four times since December while visiting our kids who attend college in the area. We love the old world charm and the Hollywood theme. We take advantage of the Driftwood Inn each visit, and it’s not to be missed. Great ambience, food and drinks. We typically stay in a suite, which are generous in size, with comfortable beds and a sitting area. The AAA deal offers a great rate and cuts 50% off of parking. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Looking forward to upcoming stay next week!

Bugs crawling in room
Pros:

If I could rate this below 0 I would.
Staying at this hotel was a huge mistake.
The room is filthy, there were bugs crawling in the room, windows are very dirty and service is terrible.

Me and my girlfriend checked in at 9pm and we had to check out 4 hours later because the room was disgusting we couldn’t sleep in it

Pros:

Location. We were often able to walk to places we were going to.

Cons:

We had some issues with our shower (very little water pressure and shower not staying engaged). Waitress in the bar was not pleasant.
