The locked parking garage

Cons:

It stinks. The shower was non-operational ( the mechanism to switch the water flow to the shower head did not work) . The room was cleaned but so old and stained there’s no way to say it’s actually “clean” .. gnarly carpet.
I was charged $20 for “amenities” that I never used.
The restaurant was literally a ghost town. I stood there for 5 minutes to get breakfast and nobody ever came out from the back. It was open, and there were like 5 employees of the hotel chatting at the front desk while I waited. I eventually just went to my room, gathered my belongings and checked out early and cut my losses. This hotel is in a bad way and should close and re-group.

Clean comfy room.

Cons:

I was placed next to the housekeeping room so laundry got loud in the early hours of the morning. I haven't received my security deposit back yet either

Pretty much everything about this property is fantastic from the decor to the customer service. Ken was amazing. Told us some history about the buildings and we chatted about movies.

I would definitely stay here again!
Pros:

Mostly everything was perfect! I loved the old Hollywood vintage theme and the speakeasy was cozy and intimate. The staff were all very nice and parking was conveniently located right next door. I was able to check in early and they have me a generous discount on parking.

Cons:

Faint smell of mildew when I walked in the room. It is an old building, though. All the fixtures were up to date.

Perfect place to stay for events in PDX, vacation or staycation
Pros:

Hotel deLuxe is our go to for staycationing in Portland. We live about an hour away, and we have stayed here for concerts, food and fun, and other events. The value is great, the staff is helpful, the location is convenient to Portland venues, it's walkable (or a short uber) to great food venues as well. On site dining options have great ambiance and offerings as well. Clean, comfortable, and convenient.

Disappointed in the lack of cleanliness
Pros:

Location, restaurant in hotel, cute theme

Cons:

The lack of cleanliness ruined the whole vibe for me. There were stains on the duvet, still rings from products in the shower from the person before me, mold on the bathroom ceiling. Additionally the hotel was clearly outdated and desperately needed a renovation, to the point that despite the good price compared to other hotels, i still do not think it was worth it.

Pros:

The hotel itself was incredible - really kind staff, great facilities and comfortable beds.

Cons:

This isn’t the hotel’s fault but we felt really unsafe in the area. Even during the day, it felt like we were at risk and at night, there was constant screaming and swearing coming from outside.

Nice old hotel in downtown Portland. Small room with only one chair. No free parking.
Pros:

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice towels. Quiet neighborhood

Cons:

Didn't like $40.00 for parking. Why does a room for two people only have one chair? Heat took a long time to warm up the room.
